Interrupting me, he says, “Baby, the only place I’m down for is to be in between your legs.” Fuck. I’m instantly horny again. “If I bend you over right here, will you be a good girl and stay quiet for me?”

An evil smirk plays on my lips before I whisper into Josh’s ear, “There’s only one thing that's gonna keep me quiet.” I lower to my knees, hands on the belt around Josh’s waist, fingers playing with the buckle. “Can you be quiet for me, Captain?”

After a thrilling five wins in a row, the team and I, along with some of the staff, are all celebrating. Matthews invited us all to his place for drinks, which just so happens to be on the floor below mine. Olivia and I have been seeing each other for just over two months now, yet she hasn’t been back to my place since the first time she was here. I don't blame her, honestly, but I’m so glad she’s coming over tonight. The team had an away game last night. Our plane only landed a couple of hours ago. Katherine decided we didn’t need a photographer for this game. Therefore, Olivia had the weekend off, spending it with Sasha, who just happens to also be coming tonight.

They've been inseparable lately; I don't fully understand it, thinking maybe it’s a girl thing. Shouldn't she be at home, with her fiancé, planning their wedding? It almost seems like she's avoiding Max like he’s the plague. I've met him a few times. Seems like an alright guy, but there's something off about him. Plus, he’s boring as fuck, and not a good match for Sasha at all, in my opinion.

Matthews’ place is crowded as I walk in, and I groan as I hear him singing through a microphone. I swear to God, if he's brought the karaoke machine out, I'm gonna slap him.

He’s the only person I know who can sing karaoke without having a few drinks first. I know I’ll need liquid courage before even going up there.

Matthews and Knight are currently singing I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred, and I’m tempted to cover my ears because they sound terrible. The song ends, and Matthews takes the mic again. “Thank you, everyone, for coming to this motherfucking celebration.” He says as everyone in the room cheers. “Everyone raise a glass to our Captain,” he looks me dead in the eye and winks, “Josh Woods.” Everyone claps and cheers, shooting their drinks back.

I can’t help but keep glancing towards the door, watching for my girl to come in. It fucking kills me that I can’t pull her to me, kiss her the way I want to and that we both need to, especially after not seeing each other for three days. It’s the longest amount of time that we've gone without seeing each other, and I’ve missed her like crazy.

We’ve talked to each other as much as we can when we’re not together, but with being around the guys, all the games and press conferences, it sure seems like it hasn’t been a lot. It’s so weird going away without her tagging along with the team now. Her presence calms me, and I’m not the only one who's thought this. Even Knight and a few of the other players have commented on her absence. She’s become a part of our hockey family. She’s become friends with the whole team, and has even learned to ignore Conor when he’s being an ass. That’s not an easy feat.

“Olliepop!” I hear Matthews shout from across the room, and my eyes fly to the door. My girl is here, looking so fucking beautiful, as always. I swear she gets more attractive every time I see her. Her long blonde hair is tied back in a cute something, I guess in a pony tail? Is that what it’s called? It’s slightly messy but looks intentional. When I look at her body, my eyes nearly bug out of my head. She’s wearing tight jeans that show off her ass, a pair of really high heels, and to top it all off, she’s wearing my jersey, and it’s cropped at the waist and slung low over one shoulder. My fucking knees go weak at the sight of her. I make my way over in her direction, just to hear the conversation between her and Matthews.

“Why are you wearing his name and not mine, Olliepop? I thought we were friends.”

“Oh, Conor.” She pats her hand against his chest. “We are friends, but Josh is my favorite player.”

“I’m hurt. Truly hurt.” He makes a sad face that earns a laugh from Olivia. Behind her, Sasha walks in with a matching jersey but a different name printed on it. Matthews scowls for real this time, “Are you fucking kidding me?” He says as he huffs, storming in a different direction.

“What the fuck did I do?” Sasha asks Olivia, who just laughs in response.

“Ladies!” I announce myself, and it takes everything in me not to pull this girl, Olivia, not Sasha, obviously, into my arms. Sasha’s more like an annoying sister than anything else. I love her, but she pisses me off. Kinda like Matthews. Man, they’d be a good fit.

“Hey, baby.” Ollie smiles up at me, “You like?” She asks, doing a little twirl to show off my name on her back.

“I love it. But, I would love it even more if you were only wearing that and nothing else.” I say quietly so only she can hear. Her cheeks heat a beautiful shade of pink, causing Sasha to gag beside us.

“Please stop. You’re either gonna make me sick or extremely horny, and I can't afford to be either right now.” She looks around the crowd, but I can’t take my eyes off my girl. “Oh shit!” Sasha screams, scaring the absolute, well shit, out of me. “Is this karaoke? I have to go!” She runs off towards the small stage set up by the floor-to-ceiling windows and speaks to whoever is running the DJ stand.

Hips Don't Lie by Shakira begins playing, and she has everyone's attention immediately, just not the way you’d think. She’s fucking terrible, but she does it with so much confidence that it draws you in.

“You gonna go up?” Ol asks me, and I laugh.

“Definitely not.”

“Oh, come on, Captain. Don't be a spoiled-sport.” She pouts those deliciously, kissable lips at me, captivating me and I groan.

“Fine.” She squeals in happiness, clapping her hands. She’s so fucking cute. “But,” I pause for effect, and she eyes me warily, “you have to go first.”

She laughs to herself, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Okay. Care to make it interesting, though?”

What have I gotten myself into with this girl? “What were you thinking?”

“Hmm,” she’s thinking so hard, her bottom lip is pouting out. I just wish I could take that lip between my teeth and pull. “Okay, whoever gets the least cheers, will have to-” She’s thinking for a second, then finishes her thought, “get a tattoo. Wherever and whatever the winner choses.”

How the hell can I say no to this girl? I would get ‘wanker’ tattooed on my forehead if she asked me to.

“Deal.” I hold my hand out, and she willingly accepts, shaking it firmly.
