They sandwiched her between them again, and Nic soaped up his hands with shampoo before massaging the bubbles into her hair.
“You have the longest hair I’ve ever seen.”
It fell down her back, some pieces slicking to the swell of her ass. He bundled it up and then rinsed the suds away before lathering her up in conditioner.
“I don’t even wash my hair with this much attention,” she said, leaning back into him and blinking up at him through the water. He shrugged.
“What’d you want me to do, dunk you and call it a day?”
She sighed with a little smile. “No. This feels nice.” Nic took the hidden suggestion and worked the conditioner through her scalp, pulling little hums of pleasure from Wendy’s lips.
“Wendy?” Nic’s amused voice called to her.
She blinked drowsily at him from under the giant towels they’d wrapped her in. “Yeah?”
“Water, bed?” he asked, fluffing the towel around her hair to dry the strands.
Wendy nodded, slumping into him.
The soft chuckle he let out was music to her ears as he dried her off.
Tate was already changing the sheets when they entered the bedroom, and Nic disappeared for water as Tate pulled her down to the mattress.
Their breaths were the only thing that filled the room, and Wendy buried her head in Tate’s neck, inhaling his smooth scent lung deep.
“Are you okay? No intrusive thoughts?”
Her heart absolutely ached at the worry in his voice, and she lifted her head to drift a lazy kiss over his lips.
“I can confidently say you fucked the thoughts right out of my head,” she admitted with a half smile.
The door shut softly, and she glanced over her shoulder to find Nic joining them. “Couldn’t help but overhear,” he admitted with a cheeky grin.
He sat the water bottles on the side table before uncapping one and passing it to her. Like a good omega, she hydrated under the heavy gazes of those two, trying not to blush as if they hadn’t been inside her moments ago.
She replaced the water, and only just then spied the ice cream pint with the abandoned spoon. It was melted, a wet ring dripping onto the night table.
“Guess we forgot about the ice cream, huh?” she teased.
Tate pulled her back between them with a squeal and cuddled around her until sleep took her away.
Chapter 29
ARLO
Getting woken up by the blinding overhead light was not how he thought his night would go. Not after suffering from Tate’s arousal in the bond until sleep had finally won him over.
“Power’s back on,” a deep voice grumbled.
Blinking his eyes against the hostile brightness, Arlo sat up and shielded his face as the mattress dipped around him before transitioning to footsteps. Once his vision adjusted, he found Griffith on the other side of the room just as he flicked the switch.
“I see that,” Arlo answered, voice thick with sleep. He cleared his throat before sitting up straighter and rose to his feet.
“You don’t—” Grif began with a frown.
Arlo waved him off with his hand and tracked down the other lights to turn off in the house. As he entered Griffith’s room, he froze and felt a chuckle roll up his throat. Daisy had pulled the folded comforter down off the chair and had made it her home. And none other than Knuckles was snuggled up next to the big mutt. What was even funnier, they were both snoring. Arlo shut the bedroom light off with a grin and made his way back to the living room.
“What’s so funny?” Griffith asked.
