“Don’t play around with me like you do these hoes nigga. If I want a bitch, I’ll have her. I’m asking you questions because she is now on my fuckin’ payroll. You say you not pressed, well then act like it, nigga. We call each other by street names and yet you call the girl by her real government name. If Reaper is what she goes by, that’s what you call her. You the only soft ass nigga I know that kept your government name as your street name. Now get yo’ ass up and tell them to bring their asses up here.” I dismissed him and said nothing else as I poured me another shot.
Once he was out the door, Solo looked at me and gave a crooked smile. “I keep saying, that nigga is gone be a problem, you just keep adding them to the list.” He took a swig from the bottle he had been holding since we got here. Solace was my day one, but he could easily become day zero. On the business side of things, shit was running smooth with him, and I had no complaints. I didn’t question his loyalty because he proved on multiple occasions that he was thorough. He just couldn’t help the fact that he was a big-ass crybaby in disguise.
I stood up and made my way back to the tinted glass with my hands behind my back and watched the club intently. My eyes fell back on Debo’s section, I could see Kat throwing her ass in a full circle with other females in the club pumping her up.
“That’s right Kat get that nigga going.” I smiled watching Kat put in work for the team. I had an important meeting in a couple of weeks in Italy. I was going to meet with a nigga named Armando. I was considered one of the heads of the states like he was of his country. Armando had spoken ill of me to many associates that I do big business with and through the big supply chain of drugs and guns. He loved taxing and skimming off the top with other men he was in business with, so I never dealt business with him. He recently became under my radar when a new product started to make its rounds in my neck of the woods.
Niggas like Debo didn’t like men like me because he wasn’t the head nigga in charge to begin with like me. I was a boss, I moved to my own clock. I had my own chain of supply and other distributors came and set at my table to beg me for a piece of the pie at whatever fee I offered. I didn’t know who got in Debo’s ear and put him onto my enemy, but he had Armando’s product and had the nerve to serve it in my neck of the woods. At first, I thought it was a simple mistake. I gave him a few months to meet with Solo and make things right by copping with us. Instead, he started buying multiple ran down houses in different cities and opening trap houses. I let him eat and he would continue to until I checked the head nigga in charge who was responsible for serving him which was Armando. Like Solo informed me, one of my associates had to put Debo on with Armando. A small-time nigga like Debo would never know of a man like Armando. There was only one explanation for him knowing and that was, it had to be a snake in my fucking camp.
“This shit player as fuck Solace. You doing your shit with this club.” I heard a soft delicate voice behind me and smiled. I wouldn’t correct her because there was no need to. I didn’t boast or take credit in things I possessed or owned.
“Good looking.” He said proudly, taking the credit easily as I expected him too. I turned around to face them. One look at Reaper and I knew she was a force to be reckoned with. Those gray eyes pierced me, and I said nothing at first, she had me stuck for a moment. This Reaper chick would eventually become a problem.
“So why the fuck am I up here?” Her pretty face bawled up as my eyes fell to the outline of her ripped-up jeans. Licking my lips to lubricate what I was about to say to her, I made my way in front of her.
“To meet the boss.” I held my hand out and she looked at it as if I had a disease.
“With Covid going around, I don’t do too much handshaking.” She dug in her pocket and pulled out a pack of Newport’s. After sparking up one and blowing the smoke towards the ceiling she finally put her attention back on me and smiled.
“It’s nice to meet you though boss.” She looked at her expensive diamond watch and back up at me. I didn’t know if I should’ve felt disrespected or intrigued. She looked annoyed when most females melted in my presence.
“No offense but if we ain’t talking business, I’m going to have to excuse myself.”
“No offense taken. I’ll be seeing you around Reaper.” I smiled back at her. She nodded her head and said nothing as she told Hakeem to meet her back downstairs when he was ready. When she was out the room everyone laughed except for Solace.
“Seem like she had your ass stuck nigga.” Solo was the first to speak on what I was sure every nigga in this room was thinking.
“That broad just hella bold. Remind me of my mom, you know she hates touching strangers without giving their asses hand sanitizer. Then, she had the nerve to spark one of those funky ass cancer sticks.” I shook my head and frowned up at the lingering smell.
“One of you nigga’s spark up a fuckin’ blunt to get that smell out of my office.” I took a seat and shook my head. I made a mental note to get all of Reaper’s information, I wanted to know everything about her.
I chuckled at my flashback and how much those cigarettes used to irritate the fuck out of me. It was the little things that had changed about her that drawn me even closer. We finished up taking pictures then went back inside the cabin. I had the host put candles and roses everywhere. We got in the shower together; I bathed her and when we got out, I dried her off and gave her an hour massage. My hands were hurting from doing all of that but for her I would suffer. I laughed to myself about how I was catering to her because the old me only touched females when it came down to fuckin. After long stroking her, she fell asleep. I watched her for a minute then went onto the rear of the boat to look out at the ocean. Sparking up a blunt, finding myself back in deep thought. I heard Mattea scream loud as hell and my stomach dropped hard causing a cramp to hit my abdomen. It felt like I was moving in slow motion, yet I got to her in perfect timing. She was sitting up in bed sweating profusely the sheets were wet like she had peed on herself.
I started hyperventilating finding myself stuck at the entrance of the cabin watching her, blinking my eyes.
“Ream! Get me back to shore, I think my water broke and my stomach is ahhhhhh!” She screamed out in agony as I moved my lips to talk but couldn’t.
“Christian!” She held her stomach making me jump out of whatever trance I was currently in. I went to move towards her, and she gave me the evil eye. I didn’t know what the fuck to do even though we talked about it a hundred fucking times.
“Tell the captain to take us back to fucking shore and call a got damn ambulance!” She yelled like I wasn’t just deep inside of her forty-five minutes ago. I came back to my senses and ran to wake the captain who was probably asleep in his cabin. I called the ambulance next. and I didn’t know if it was my nerves or the motion of the boat, but I threw up everywhere and was starting to feel dizzy. Shaking it off I made my way back to Mattea and held her in my arms, remembering the breathing exercises, I coached her threw them. I hated to see her in so much pain, the look in her eyes told me she was scared just like I was. I was the one with the balls and her support system right now, so I had to push that being scared shit to the back of my brain. Every time she screamed out in agony like the baby was killing her that fear came back to the forefront. I just wanted her and my baby safe.
“This shit hurts so bad Ream.” I wiped the tears from her eyes and swallowed the lump that was forming in my throat.
“I know baby, you gon’ be okay. I’m here and you know I’m not gone let anything happen to you. We gone get you to the hospital and you about to have our baby. It’s gon’ be all worth it.” I promised her.
“I should have never let your ass fuck tonight.” She mumbled as I looked down at her like she was crazy. She was just complaining at dinner how I didn’t go deep enough.
“The doctor said, sex is good though.” I kissed her on her sweaty forehead as she practiced the breathing techniques.
“Nigga please.” She rolled her eyes. It seemed like it was taking the captain forever but when he finally arrived on shore, he knocked then peaked his head into our cabin. Nodding my head that we were ready he opened the door and let the EMT workers rush in. Mattea let them know that her contractions seemed to hit her hard every five to ten minutes. While they ushered her out on a gurney, I rushed to slip on my tank top and suit pants that was in the recliner chair. Appearance meant a lot to me but right now I didn’t give a damn how I looked. I rushed off the boat and got into the ambulance watching them hook her up to machines as she yelped out every couple of minutes in pain. They opened her legs to see how much she had dilated.
I fucked up by leaning forward to get a look at her pussy trying to be on some perv shit. All I remember was seeing her pussy wide open with hair in the middle. I also remember the EMT yelling.
“We see a head!” Before fainting and everything blacking out around me.
