I force back my orgasm even as I feel hers move through her. When I can no longer stop it, the pleasure rips through me as I explode inside her. Holy shit. It’s never been like that before. What the hell?
Her cheeks are flushed from my kisses, her hair tousled from my hands running through it. She catches me looking and smiles shyly as she smooths her palms down her jeans.
“You’re staring again,” she murmurs.
“Can you blame me?”
A soft laugh escapes her.
I stand and move toward her, sliding my fingers through hers before leading her out of my room. The clubhouse noise grows louder as we step into the hallway.
Halfway to the stairs, another door opens.
Izzy and Jinx step out.
I blink in surprise.
“You’re back!” Raven cries out, leaning over to hug Izzy.
Izzy flashes her a grin before bobbing her head in my direction. “Looks like I missed out on some juicy gossip. You owe me an explanation of how this happened later.”
“Holy shit,” I mutter.
Neither of them looks remotely like themselves anymore. Jinx’s dark hair is hidden beneath a blonde wig, her makeup heavier and sharper than usual. Izzy’s dressed in a tight red dress with her tattoos partially concealed beneath a leather jacket.
Izzy smirks. “Good reaction?”
“Didn’t recognize either of you,” I admit.
“Perfect,” Jinx says.
We head downstairs together, where the rest of the guys are already gathering near the entrance. Smoke checks his weapon while Byte studies something on his phone. Shield looks up as we approach.
“Time to move,” he says.
The room shifts instantly into business mode.
I turn toward Raven and pull her close before I leave. My mouth brushes hers softly, slower than upstairs but somehow more meaningful.
“Stay safe,” I murmur against her lips.
Her fingers curl into my shirt. “You too.”
I kiss her one more time before forcing myself to let go.
CHAPTER 28: RAVEN
I stand outside the clubhouse with my arms wrapped around myself, watching the line of motorcycles pull away into the night. Headlights cut through the darkness one after another, engines rumbling hard enough to shake the door behind me. The men are all on their bikes, while Jinx and Izzy are tucked safely away in the SUVs. Cole is driving Jinx while Izzy rides shotgun with Axel. Carver’s eyes find mine before he pulls on his helmet.
Then they’re gone. I step back inside, and the first thing I notice is how quiet it is. The women murmur amongst themselves. I’m not paying attention. My thoughts are on Jinx and Izzy. I know they're both tough, but Tony and his friends are predators. Who knows what they’ll do once they’re cornered?
The common room is quieter than usual without the men. Most of the Old Ladies linger nearby, nursing drinks or pretending to watch television. Nobody’s really paying attention. We’re all waiting.
Lenora sits on the couch flipping through a magazine she hasn’t turned a page of in ten minutes. Tally sits next to her, rubbing her protruding belly. It’s still just a small bump, but it’s noticeable. Min paces near the front door, and I have to admit that I’m surprised she didn’t go with the men. Then I realize that she likely remained behind so the women would have protection. Laser is behind the bar, while Simon guards the gate, but Min adds an extra layer of protection.
Maestro strolls into the room carrying a laptop under one arm. His expression is grim.
“What’s wrong?” Min asks.
