“Wait.” She presses a hand to my stomach. “What if… we… recreate.”
“My Prinsessa come to save me?”
“Yes,” she breathes. “Except I need to do more than feed you a single drop of blood.”
I turn her and push her toward the door. “Give me ten seconds before you come back.”
Rune laughs as she hurries out of the chamber.
Quick as I can, I strip down to nothing, then lie on the altar, dick hard and pointing to the ceiling.
Chapter 157
Rune
Idrag my finger over Vameer’s scar as I lie on him on top of the altar.
The taste of honey still lingers on my tongue, and neither of us is in a hurry to leave.
He trails his fingers through my hair.
“Vameer?”
He hums.
“Are those human bones on the floor back there?”
His hand pauses.
I start to lift my head, but he presses my cheek back to his chest.
“If you pretend not to see those, I’ll introduce you to my new Irish friends.” I can hear the smile in his voice, so I know the bones aren’t from someone who makes him sad.
But that just makes me more curious.
I grin. “Take me to the pub!”
But I agree to nothing.
Chapter 158
Vameer
The sky is painted orange as the sun sets.
And it’s completely different from the last time I arrived here.
Last time, I was alone.
Last time, I didn’t know how long I’d been gone.
Last time, I was dressed in my too-small robe.
This time, I’m dressed in tailored clothing and a custom robe.
This time, I know when and where I am.
This time, I am not alone.
