With a growl, she thrust her tongue into his mouth, exploring and stroking. She slid her hands up his chest, wrapping them around his neck, pulling him flush against her. Her softness was the perfect contrast to his hardness, and he leaned forward, pressing her back against the hay.
He cupped her face and gently tilting her head to the side for better access. And then he took over the kiss, his tongue sweeping into her mouth. Their tongues met and clashed, sparring. Giving and taking.
He slipped his hands down her sides, reveling in the softness of her curves. Without breaking the kiss, he hoisted her up, and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He cupped her ass, kneading the flesh through the denim. He’d never hated the material more. Her core came in contact with his erection and she made a mewling noise. So hot.
She tightened her arms around his neck, thrusting her tongue against his, and sifted her hands through his hair, tugging slightly. A tingle ran through him, his hips rocking forward. She moaned.
A throat clearing behind him made her stiffen in his arms. He broke off the kiss and glared over his shoulder at whoever was dumb enough to interrupt them.
Jake stood in the doorway, the setting sun casting his long shadow along the floor.
Why was he not surprised that the moron didn’t know when to turn around and walk the other way? But, no, his baby brother stood there, hands in his pockets, looking completely unapologetic. In fact, the idiot had a huge grin on his face. He didn’t realize how close he was to death.
Grace unhooked her legs from around his middle, and he lowered her to the ground, his hands lingering on her ass. He turned back to her, but she refused to look at him. Her cheeks were that incredible shade of pink, her lips swollen and wet. She’d never looked hotter.
Yup, Jake was a dead man.
She squeezed past him and the air that rushed into the empty space left him chilled. He reached for her, but she scooted away. “Grace?”
Her shoulders stiffened, but she didn’t stop. She hurried over to the door, keeping her gaze on the ground. She didn’t say anything to Jake, or even lift her head. Just headed out the door.
Jake watched her go, that stupid grin on his face, his gaze lingering on her ass a little too long. She disappeared from view, and he turned back to Mason. “So, how’s it going?”
“You are such a dead man.” Mason’s words held such deadly sincerity that Jake cocked an eyebrow.
Mason moved, his long strides eating up the distance between them. The asshole laughed and then spun, taking off at a run toward the house. Mason picked up speed, a spike of adrenaline wiping out the pain in his leg, closing the distance. He was going to take a great deal of pleasure in showing his baby brother the error of his ways.
