I reach down and grab her legs, wrapping them around my waist. I push her back against the wall, holding her in place, placing her clit even with my throbbing dick.

I tug her chin towards me and for the first time all morning, I kiss her. It’s all tongues and teeth, led by the pure desire we both feel to get off. I thrust my hips up, determined to hit her in just the right spot. Dani’s loud moan tells me I’m succeeding.

“Yes, Gavin. Do that again!”

I do it a few more times. Her yells and begs for more getting more intense. She digs her heels into my lower back, and wraps her arms around my neck, giving herself leverage to move her hips with mine. The feeling of us moving together in this position is unreal. I can feel the buildup inside me. I’m not going to last much longer.

“Gavin. I’m gonna…”

Dani tenses on top of me, and I can feel her dripping between us. The sensation is enough to send me over. White heat ripples down my spine and the next thing I know, cum is shooting from me and onto her stomach.

We’re both trying to catch our breath, but I don’t let that stop me from kissing her again. I refuse to put her down when I bring our lips together. It’s simple and relaxed, but I make sure to put my whole heart into it.

“So…” She smiles as she pulls away. “You gonna finally let me use that loofah now?”

I unwrap her legs from me, carefully placing her on the wet ground. “I’ll help.” I wink.

Chapter 20

Dani

“Can you help me with this zipper? I think it’s stuck.”

Gavin walks over and stops behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. “Or—” he draws out. “You could just forget the dress and stay here a little longer.” He leans down and places a soft kiss on my neck.

“You are unbelievable,” I giggle. “How do you have anything left in you?”

After our go in the shower, we ended up having sex two more times. According to Gavin, we needed to take full advantage of the hotel room. I need to take a real shower now, but that will have to wait until I get back to my room.

“I told you,” he says softly. “I will never get enough of you.”

The words land heavier than they should, but in a good way. Still, something in my chest tightens.

“Speaking of that…” I turn in his arms to face him. Being this close makes it harder to say, but I push through it anyway. “I think we need to talk about whatever this is.”

He nods, already there with me. “We do.” He exhales, running a hand down my back like he’s steadying himself. “And as much as it kills me not to just tell you to be mine and ride off into the sunset together…” A smirk tugs at his mouth. “I think we should wait to have that conversation.”

I blink. “Huh?”

“I don’t want to mess this up again,” he says, and there’s no teasing now. “I refuse to.” His thumb brushes absentmindedly over my skin as he continues. “Once the bliss of last night—and this morning,” he adds with a knowing look, “wears off, then we should talk. Really talk.”

My heart starts to race. This man.

“You just ended things with Sam,” he goes on. “Literally twelve hours ago. And while I don’t think this is a rebound—God, I really hope it isn’t—I want you to be sure. I want you to know what you’re choosing.”

His words settle over me. There’s no pressure with them.

“Maybe once we’ve been home for a few days,” he finishes, “we can talk and figure out what this really is.”

I don’t answer right away. Instead, I reach up, pulling his face down to mine, pressing a brief, grateful kiss to his lips. “Thank you.” I smile.

It’s not the response I expected from Gavin. Not even close. But I’m not upset. If anything, I’m the opposite. I can’t remember the last time someone put my feelings first like that.

Well, besides Alexa.

Speaking of which.

“I really should get going,” I add reluctantly. “I don’t want Alexa freaking out when she finds me missing from my room.”
