I looked at her with a quizzical look. “And when was this?”

An amused laugh escaped her. “When I came to find you. You were still in the hospital, and she found me at the docks. I see why you like the spicy Latina. She’s frisky.”

“She’s a softy. I have a better chance with her than I do with Widow.”

Hades’s face contorted. She didn’t like Widow, and I knew it. “I’ll support you with Vesper all day long, baby. Widow…She’s a cunt who doesn’t deserve you.”

“She’s…”

“A few sandwiches short of a picnic?” I couldn’t help the laugh that erupted from my lungs. “It’s true. She doesn’t see the prize you are. She’s lucky I don’t kill her. I know how to make murder look like an accident.”

“Let’s not kill her.” Hades lifted herself up and swatted my left ass cheek. I turned on my back and she straddled my hips. Goddamn. Hades was the epitome of an aphrodisiac. She smirked down at me as she used the remaining oil on her hands and massaged it into her breasts. I was salivating, but I loved how Hades looked. She should be framed and admired.

“You’re drooling.”

I nodded. “Yeah, drooling is definitely happening.”

“I still don’t know how anyone could deny you,” Hades rasped. “You’re beautiful, sexy, have the biggest heart of anyone I know, and you sound perfect when you come.” Hades was trying to kill me. “I like the idea of makin’ her jealous.” Hades moved her hips against me. “How you feel about that, my valkyrie? Tie her to a chair? I devour you, maybe even get Vesper in on the action, too.”

I groaned. “I think I’ll die.’

“Luckily, I know CPR.” Hades smirked.

I coughed dramatically. “Doctor. Doctor, I think I need mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.” Hades leaned down, her red locs framing her face as she pressed her lips to mine. It was quick, teasing, and quite literally stole my breath away.

She pulled away slightly and whispered in my ear, “You’re oxygen, Rory, because I can’t live without you.” I didn’t know if I should swoon or call her out for using a cheesy doctor line, but I wasn’t going to lie—it made me weak in the knees. Hades pulled herself up and couldn’t contain her laughter. “I think that was pretty bad.”

“Ehh, it’s okay. I’ll top you off. Are you my prescription? Because you make everything better.” Okay, I was treading dangerous territory with three little words. It was too early, regardless of how our relationship had developed. “Okay, maybe that was horrible.”

“Mmm, not one bit, my valkyrie. What’s goin’ on in that wicked head of yours, though?”

I bit my lip. “How do you feel about Vesper?” I questioned. “Like in general?”

“She’s not a bitch, if that’s what you mean. I like her more than Widow. She’s still a fuckin’ dumbass when it comes to confessing her feelings for you, but at least she’s takin’ a chance.”

“Are you okay with dating me while I’m dating her?”

“Of course I am. I am fallin’ hard, valkyrie, and my mama taught me how to share my favorite things.” I beamed. “The feelings I have for you are strong enough to share you, even if I don’t like how they hurt you before.”

Hades moved her hips against me, and I grasped her full hips. “I think I am one lucky woman then.”

A sly grin spread across her lips. “Hmm, you want the two of us to have you together? I think I like the idea of watching Vesper fuck you while you eat me out. Or maybe my wicked girl wants something else?”

I groaned. “I like the thought of double penetration, but only with you two, and well, you know with Widow…”

“I’ll give you everything you desire, pretty girl. So what do you say we see if she takes any bait?” Hades purred. “How about some spicy pictures? Think she’ll like it?”

I grinned mischievously, desire flowing through me. I reached for my phone and snapped a picture of Hades. God, she looked sinful. “Okay, I need you to fuck me now, pretty please. She might take a minute to respond.”

Seventy-Nine

Vesper

Iwanted Rory to be home once again, but I knew she needed time to heal and breathe before coming home. Maybe I was jealous of Hades having my girl to herself. I couldn’t call her mine when I wouldn’t chase the desire I had for her. Cinder made sure no one dated her little sister, but while I never admitted my feelings, it was hard to hide the look on my face when I was in the same room as her. I was smitten, but I think I lost my chance at having her. And that was killing me.

Reaching for my tequila, I took a sip as my phone vibrated. I opened the text from Rory, and the glass stumbled in my hand, spilling a little as I righted my grip and put it on the table. I fumbled with my phone, looking at the picture again and the text that followed.
