“If you’re so hungry for my cock, you better start eating. We have time to kill.”

Swallowing his cock for hours? I could be into that.

Seabirds screech and caw overhead, and I nuzzle into Sean. The ocean bellows sonorously beyond the trees. Long gone is the cooler weather from last night; the shade of the green canopy only spares a bit of the sun’s torture. Beads of sweat slide down my spine, fill the space between and below my breasts, and drip into my various cuts. I ignore the sting.

My cheek is damp where it’s pressed against Sean’s bare chest. I’m starting to wonder why I put the jumper and shorts back on. I can’t quite tell if he’s contributing to the warmth of the situation or if it’s just that hot. It figures that he’d put off a ton of body heat, given his size.

“What are you thinking about?”

His skin is stickier than the bar top of an old, seedy pub as I peel my body from his. I sit up and tuck my feet beneath my thighs. “This humidity is…oppressive. What do you say we cool down?”

I could really go for some snow. It won’t be long now.

Stony and beautiful, he regards me, his head resting against the tree trunk. “How do you suggest we do that?”

A mischievous Cheshire Cat smile crawls over my face as I spring to my feet. I hold out my hand, my broken fingers and botched fingernails looking properly gruesome as they hang between us. “Don’t you trust me?”

I wink, but his expression remains stoic. “Implicitly,” he answers as his massive hand clamps down around my forearm instead of taking my hand. My fractured digits curl around his beefy arm in return, and I grit my teeth against the shot of pain that’s more potent than a shot of bottom-self vodka. Once he’s on his feet, I slide my palm against his and pull him along behind me. I bounce through the vegetation, disregarding the sharp branches and leaves that tug at the various cuts littering my skin.

The coppice ends at the precipice of a small hill. A sandy slope is all that separates us from the tumultuous Pacific. I drop his hand, then half-run, half-skip toward the water. Along the way, I peel off the hideous orange jumper and drop it without a care.

The sand is warm beneath my feet, and my toes sink with each step. It’s still early, and there are hardly any beachgoers, which indicates that it’s likely a weekday. Good, that could be beneficial later.

I pause when the sand becomes firm and wet. Stripping out of my shorts, I turn to hurl them toward the dry sand. Sean’s still standing atop the large mound, watching with rapt attention. Waving my arm in the air, I beckon him to join me. Even if he doesn’t, I intend to have a bit of fun.

My grin is brighter than a bonfire as I tread backwards into the ocean, the waves lapping at my bare legs. The saltwater makes each gash sting viciously, but it feels benign when compared to everything else I’ve endured over the last few months. It could always be worse; there’s no lemon juice.

The ocean licks at my ass like a soft lover when I finally hear a splash behind me. I turn around again just in time to catch a hulking Sean ungracefully trudging in my direction. His cock, now at half-mast, swings between his legs like the pendulum of a grandfather clock. He wears a harsh, menacing expression with his lips set and eyebrows dipped low, but the sparkle in his blue-grey eyes betrays him.

In the next heartbeat, his arms are wrapped around my middle. He throws us both into the waves, shifting his body so he takes the brunt of the fall. I let out a little yelp as the ocean swallows us up. Even being on the run with Sean, this is still one of the best days of my life.

Louhi

Pulling the band from the end of the short braid and putting it around my wrist, I dunk under the water again and rub at my scalp. It’s as close to clean as I can get right now. It feels nice.

When I poke my head up, I kick my feet and realize absently I can’t touch the sandy bottom anymore. I close the small gap between me and Sean and wrap my legs around his waist as though he’s a life preserver.

Even as the solar floodlight blares down on us, I wish we could stay here all day. Resting my forearms on his shoulders, I lean forward and capture his lips. They’re soft, supple, and seem to carry a current as if he’s an electrical substation and his mouth is a live wire. He tastes like salty freedom and it’s heady enough to intoxicate me. Sorry, I can’t make the plane at noon, Viktor. I’m busy getting drunk on Digs.

One of his hands tangles into the wet strands of my hair, the pads of his fingers burrowing into my skull forcefully. The other is pressed against my lower back, crushing our bodies together. His cock thickens between us, and my heels mash firmly into his muscled cheeks as I deepen the kiss.

Kissing him is addictive, like I’ve unknowingly ingested a drug simply by parting my lips. I’d stop, but I think he’s the antidote, too.

When we tear ourselves apart, my chest is heaving, my happiness splitting my face in half. When’s the last time I smiled this much?

I’m about to say something when Sean suddenly blurts, “Hold your breath, baby,” before dunking us both underwater. I don’t even have time to frown.

When we surface, I cough up water and laughter as I shove a large, powerful splash in his direction. He simply ducks back into the sparkling ocean to avoid it. I shriek playfully when something glides up the backs of my thighs, whirling around just as Sean surfaces.

“You’d make a terrible shark, Sean,” I tease. “Even if you’re built like one.”

We both know that’s not true. He swims around me in a circle, imitating the predator in question. “I don’t know, Lou. I think you’re the shark.”

“I resent that comparison.” My hand darts out to whack him lightly on the nose. “Pick something else.” There’s only one correct answer here.

He smirks. “You’re right, even if you’ve got the figurative razor-sharp teeth that could rival a Great White’s. You’re more of a platypus.”

My jaw hangs open for a moment before I dissolve into more laughter and splash him. When he grins back, it occurs to me that it’s the first time I’ve really seen him smile today. That knowledge makes my insides hum like an engine easily whirring to life after years in a garage.
