“On your hands and knees,” Fabien growls.
“I’ll take that as a yes,” I say with a laugh as I fall into position.
Fabien shouldn’t have been worried about his stamina; it feels like we’ve been fucking for hours.
The sounds of our bodies coming together and harsh breaths fill the otherwise silent room.
No longer able to support myself, my upper half falls to the bed, my ass in the air. Fabien holds my hips, thrusting deep enough to hit that magic spot only he’s ever been able to find.
Over, and over, and over until my body quivers with a violent need. “Fabien,” I moan, feeling completely out of control.
“Right there with you,” Fabien groans on a toe-curling thrust. “Come for me.” Thrust.” Only me.” Thrust.
“Fabien, yes!” I detonate, sparks flashing behind my eyes as my pussy absolutely gushes my release.
“Fuck, Sienna!” Fabien’s thrusting becomes erratic, and he cries out as he empties himself inside me.
We struggle to catch our breath as Fabien wraps me in his arms. “Worth the wait?” I grin against his chest, running my fingers along the fox tattoo on his heart.
“Worth the wait, but don’t ever make me wait that long again,” he warns, pressing his lips to the top of my head.
“Agreed,” I say dreamily.
“And you squirting on my cock, that one takes the top fantasy spot,” he rasps.
I shift to where we’re face-to-face, love and satiety dancing in his baby blues. “The ice pick has been dethroned?”
“Hum,” Fabien says, as if deep in thought. “It’s too close to call. A replay’s in order.” He hops out of bed and retrieves the ice pick from his rumpled suit, stabbing it into the mattress.
“You’re sick,” I tell him with a giggle as he slides back into bed, wrapping me in his arms.
“And you’re so wet, you’re at risk of sliding off the handle,” he taunts.
I stick my tongue out at him, shirking back when he snaps at it. With a contented sigh, I snuggle closer. “Is it always like this?”
“One can only hope,” Fabien murmurs against my hair, inhaling deeply.
Hope. Maybe she isn’t a four-letter word after all.
Chapter Forty-Nine
Fabien
The present
Sienna lovingly folds and readjusts little Fabien’s white burial gown that she created for him, positioning it just right inside the empty casket.
I join her, taking her hand while holding Lacey’s leash in the other. “No rush. The priest is ready to say a few words when you are.”
“Do you think Oliver is watching over our baby?” Sienna murmurs, dabbing her wet eyes with a tissue beneath her funeral veil.
“Yes,” I tell her, not bothering to hold back my own tears.
She squeezes my hand, and I lead her to the only seats, as this memorial is for just the two of us.
The priest says a few words about death and innocence, and how a just God takes care of his children. I still haven’t decided if God is a just God; that’s why I took matters into my own hands.
Sienna and I approach the freshly broken ground, with her throwing a rose onto little Fabien’s closed casket before it’s lowered.
