“Remember what I said earlier? Get on the bed.”
The words hit like a physical shove. I scrambled eagerly onto the mattress, blood rushing south.
“Clothes off.”
I’d never removed a shirt so fast in my life. Jon wasn’t wasting time either.
“You’re shaking,” he noticed, his thumb tracing my cheek. “Nervous?”
“Excited,” I said, then flinched. What made me say that? Now I sounded like the uncoolest kid on the block. “Don’t get smug,” I muttered.
“I’m not smug,” he murmured against my neck. “I’m the luckiest.”
Then he sucked the sensitive skin right over my scent gland. I gasped, my entire body jolting at the sensation. It was terrifying how a spot I’d barely been aware of a day ago could suddenly derail my entire system. Under Jon’s mouth, the gland felt like a direct line to my cock. I tilted my head further, baring my neck to give him better access, because it felt like a non-negotiable need. He hummed in approval, licking the spot he’d just sucked, letting his own scent hit me all at once. It was overwhelming, flooding my senses so perfectly that I let out a satisfied sigh.
“We’re not rushing this,” he said, just when I was about to combust from sheer pleasure. “I’m taking my time with you.”
“What else is new?” I complained. “You’re the king of taking things slowly.”
He smacked my ass, making me gasp in surprise.
“My brat needs management?”
“N-no,” I stuttered. “I’m good.”
Smirking, Jon let his hand slide down my side. Then he stopped. “Fuck!”
I blinked up at him, dazed. “What?”
“I don’t have condoms.”
I stared at him. “Why not?”
He stared back. “Why the fuck would I have brought condoms? You weren’t even speaking to me when we left.”
“Oh, Jon.”
Holding eye contact, I reached into my gym bag. I fumbled open the side pocket and pulled out one foil pack. Then another. Then a few more. His gaze dropped to the small pile in my hand, then lifted slowly back to my face.
“You have to be fucking kidding me.”
“I told you,” I said, unable to stop the smug edge creeping into my voice. “I knew you wouldn’t keep me waiting forever.”
“I have no words.”
“How about prepared?” I said lightly, leaning back on my elbows. “Or optimistic. Those are pretty good words.”
I paused.
“It’s also possible that I packed them with the idea of making you jealous.”
I smiled when he glared at me.
“Oh yes. I was going to take them all out and ponder my possibilities.”
“Brat. The things I’m about to do to you,” Jon murmured, his hands sliding down to my waist.
“You’d better do them all.”
