“Watch your mouth Ri. You really ain’t got no room to go against me right now.”

“How about you watch yours. I’m not the one that goes for bullshit either and those threats are the ultimate disrespect. Get out of my house before I say and do something I’ll regret for real. You and your bitch ain’t nothing but a bunch of clowns.”

“Ri—”

“Byeeeeee!” She opened the door and began to shove me through it.

“What’s going on?” EJ came running to the door. She had a look on her face that said she wasn’t with her sister being harmed.

“This nigga about to get the hell out of my house that’s what’s going on. He ain’t shit to me but a fuckin’ headache and I’m tired of it. Dex you can stay if you like but this disrespectful ass muthafucka got to go!”

“Stand on everything you saying Sorimah.”

“I’m a big girl Hendrix. I can handle things a lot better than you think.”

She walked past me and all I wanted to do was chase after her and take back every word I said but they were out there now, and she was on ten. She didn’t want to hear anything else I had to say.

“Let’s go bro. This ain’t it. We don’t disrespect women and you know that. What the hell is wrong with you?” Dex stepped in and I was glad he did. I was thinking about cutting up a little bit.

“Yeah, I think that’s the best move. Dexter, call me if you plan on coming back this way,” EJ chimed in escorting me to the door. I went to say something when she held her hand up. “Just go. She’s not going to respond to anything else. You made her get disrespectful when she loves you and that’s not a good thing. Go home Hendrix and deal with your family.”

“Before I leave, what’s the name of your friend’s husband?” I inquired.

“Fazio Woods but everyone calls him Woods. My friend’s name is Portia and it’s her shoe line that your woman is passing off as hers.”

“’Preciate it. I’m sorry about all of this. Can you text Dex when she calms down? I’d like to come back and apologize for my actions.”

“Uhm, sure. I don’t see why not.”

With that, I was sent on my way, because the situation I had with Avi was more precedent. She was on my behind about Sorimah but been playing me for over a year with the next dude. My gut told me she was on some other mess, but I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.

“What we doing?” he questioned as we got on the elevator.

“About to get that broad up out my house. It ain’t nothing else left to do.”

“Oh, I’m definitely tagging the fuck along for that.”

I extended my hand for the keys, and he handed them over excitedly. Dex was eager to see Aviana flat on her behind but that wasn’t what I was focused on. She was spending my money on the next man and that had me hotter than fish grease.

Akeera didn’t deserve a mother like that. She needed someone caring and loving in her life. Avi didn’t know how great Princess was, let alone how smart she was. My daughter was going to suffer because her mother was selfish and doing things that pleased her. Akeera wasn’t a factor in Avi’s life until she was needed for benefits.

By the time I made it home, it was a little after four and there was a moving truck in the driveway. I was glad she knew to get on about her way. I wasn’t going for anything less. I parked behind the truck and inspected what was in it so far. I saw nothing that belonged to her but all of my things instead. She had another thing coming if she thought I was getting out of the house I paid for.

I ran inside to her throwing more of my belongings over the banister. I couldn’t help but laugh. She was moving as if she took care of me the entire relationship or as if she was putting stacks in my bank account. She watched one too many movies or listened to her broke behind friends one.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing Aviana?” My tone wasn’t loud at all.

“I’m making sure you don’t leave a thing behind. I figured you’d want your shit since you’re giving me and Akeera the house. I mean, that’s the least you can do since you cheated on me and got the lima bean-built bitch pregnant.”

“She got to be out her rabbit ass mind if she thinks you about to go for any of this,” Dex said walking up laughing as well.

“Aye, let me ask you this. How much of my money did you give Woods?”

That caused her to stop mid action on throwing my things down. See, I probably would’ve given her the crib just to make sure my daughter wasn’t taken out of her comfort zone but because she was carrying on as if I owed her, I was going to make it known that her dirt wasn’t in the dark.

“W-what are you talking about? Who is Woods?”

“The nigga you been messing around with for over a year. You know, the nigga you can’t seem to stay away from. I’m guessing he’s the one you’ve been buying Tom Ford and True Religion for because I’ve yet to see any of that slide my way.”
