By the time she left the bathroom, having showered, dressed in clothes she’d forgotten in there the night before, she felt marginally better. Okay, a lot better.

She stopped halfway down the hall when she saw Ink flipping pancakes and Asher sitting on the counter next to him, watching intently. Ink smiled at her son, murmuring, wearing nothing but his sleep pants that hung torturously low on his hips and showing off all those glorious tattoos.

Knowing what was underneath them? Her blood heated instantly, her tender core dampening. Biting her lip to keep from moaning, she needed to get a grip.

As if sensing her, Ink turned his head, his heated stare taking her in. She wasn’t wearing anything special, just some cut-off shorts and a light-blue tank top, but she felt naked with his eyes on her, her skin flushing.

“Pancakes are almost ready,” Ink said, his voice husky before he turned his attention back.

“They smell good.” She moved around him then smiled at Asher, who grinned at her. “Are you helping?”

“Yeah!” He kicked his feet against the counter.

“Did I hear pancakes?” Taz boomed, stepping inside, the door swinging shut behind him, a wide grin on his face. “Excuse me, kid, but you’re not cutting in front of me.”

He made a beeline for Asher, hoisting him off the counter, making the toddler roar with delight. Taz leaned in close to inspect the pancakes dramatically. “Yep, those are mine. Just add a little extra char, and they’ll be perfect.”

“No, mine!” Asher squealed with laughter, kicking and squirming.

“Okay, fine, you can have that one since it’s not perfect,” Taz agreed with mock reluctance, settling Asher on his hip. His grin turned wicked and knowing as he looked at her and then Ink. “I’m going to need lots to eat after the night I had, so don’t be stingy, brother. And maybe some alcohol to erase the memory of your ugly ass too.”

Naomi froze, and Ink’s expression darkened.

Oh my God. He didn’t see …? No, he couldn’t have?

Horror built, and her entire body went hot and cold.

“Now, don’t worry,” Taz continued, like he hadn’t just dropped a bomb into the conversation. “As soon as I got the hint of what was going on, I moved my position and didn’t even try to peek.”

“I’m going to kill you,” Ink bit out between clenched teeth.

“Why do you think Asher and I are going to be getting to know each other?” Taz returned, stepping away to sit at the table and perching Asher on his lap. Asher laughed, and she wanted to die of embarrassment.

Naomi stared at him, unsure of what to do or how to handle the situation.

Ink wrapped his arm around her waist and hugged her close. “Ignore him, baby. He’s trying to get under your skin, and the more you let him, the deeper he’s going to dig. Then I’ll have to kill him, and Karissa and Glitch might want to kill me.”

“Because they want to kill him themselves?” she asked. She was sure she was as red as a tomato and refused to look at the grinning biker who knew exactly what he was doing at her dining table.

“No one wants to kill me. I’m fun to have around. Right, buddy?”

“Yeah!” Asher agreed. “Ink, ’cakes?”

“They’re right here, little man.” Ink expertly cut the pancake on the plate and poured what was probably way too much syrup, but she couldn’t be bothered to correct it. Not when he carried it to the table, Taz giving him a knowing look. “You’re lucky you’re holding him, because I’d deck you for embarrassing her,” he growled, and Asher dug in.

Taz snickered but didn’t respond, sending her a wink. She rolled her eyes and turned away, already pouring the batter for another pancake into the pan.

Ink wrapped his arms around her from behind. She bit back a moan at the feel of him. “Morning, baby,” he murmured, leaning down to brush a kiss against her cheek just in front of her ear. She shivered as fire raced down her spine.

“Ink …” Her grip on the counter tightened. “Asher,” she rasped out.

“Baby, we’re doing this. He needs to understand that I’m going to be touching and kissing his mama every chance I get.” His mouth moved to her ear, nipping at the lobe. “Especially when she’ll be kissing my balls better after nearly rupturing them the moment we’re alone.”

A nervous giggle escaped. “It was an accident.”

“Which is exactly why you won’t get a spanking to go with it.” He nipped her ear again. “I’m going to grab a quick shower. Taz, upset her and I’ll tattoo a dick on your face.”

“Dick!” Asher yelled. Taz snorted a laugh, and Naomi turned and glared at Ink.
