“Daniil,” she sighed my name, her hand coming down to trap mine to stop it sliding up higher. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her turn to me and smile. Her cheeks flushed.
That just made me grin. She wanted my hands on her as much as I did. In the month since she had agreed to be mine forever, she had really come alive again. Sometimes there was still pain and shadow in her eyes, but both she and Timothy were getting the counselling they needed. All in all, our lives were pretty damn perfect.
I wanted the rest of our lives to be like that. And if that meant postponing the wedding so she could have the one she had always dreamed of, then so be it.
“I love you.”
“I love you more,” I said instinctively. “In fact, I love you most.”
She rolled her eyes, and I squeezed her knee. “You know, the only time I allow you to roll your eyes at me is when I’m buried in you, Lily. So, unless you want me to pull this car over and bend you over your seat, I suggest you behave,” I warned.
She rewarded me with a little giggle, and I was sure I saw her eyes roll again. I slowed the car.
“Don’t you dare, Daniil,” she warned. “We have people waiting for us.”
“Let them wait.” Now that I was thinking about it, pulling over and filling her with my seed felt like a really good idea.
“Don’t you want to get married?”
My good mood evaporated. “Of course I do. You know I do. I just worry that you will regret not having the big fairy tale wedding.”
Straining her seat belt as far as it would go, she leaned over and pressed her lips to my cheek. I turned my face to hers so that her second kiss would land on my mouth.
“Eyes back on the road.” She ordered with a giggle. “I don’t care about a big fairy tale wedding, Daniil,” she said with a sigh as she settled herself back against the buttery leather of the seats. “I don’t need or want a big wedding. In fact, I would probably hate it,” she admitted. “What I want is a marriage. With you. A future with you. Now if you want to postpone and wait for a big—”
“I don’t,” I said quickly. “I want a marriage. A real partnership with you.” I swept my eyes to her. “I want the next time I feel you with my cum to be when you’re legally my wife. I gulped down a breath. “I want today to be the start of the rest of our lives together, and it will be the rest of our lives, Lily. No divorce, no breaks. You will be mine forever.”
“I can live with that,” she gave a small shrug, “as long as you are mine as well.”
“Always.” I took her hand and brought it to my lips.
We spent the rest of the short drive out of the city in a comfortable silence. I didn’t speak again until we had passed the gates to the small intimate hotel where we would say our vows to each other. I pulled the car in, noticing the familiar cars of our friends already there.
“Lily?” I sighed, killing the engine. “We need to talk.”
She looked at me in shock. A flicker of unease made her eyebrows knot tighter. “Is something wrong?”
“No,” I said quickly, and I hoped that was true.
“Then what—”
I cut her off. Sliding my fingers between hers. “I wanted to talk to you about it last night, but I was afraid of your reaction.”
“Do you want to call this off? Was that what earlier was about? Are you having cold feet and want to go back to our earlier arrangement?”
I started. “No. God no. I love you.” I brushed my lips against the back of her hand and then dropped it to my lap. “Don’t ever think I don’t want to spend my life with you because I do. It’s just that you should know something. And I’m not sure how you will take it, but I promised you I would always be honest, and I don’t want you to marry me with this hanging over our heads.”
Her eyes narrowed. “Did you cheat on me?” The pain in her voice was audible. It shook with it. “Was it before or—”
Her voice cracked. “After. I—”
“Jesus.” Unclipping her seat belt, I pulled her fully into my arms. “Jesus, no, Lily. There hasn’t been another woman since I laid eyes on you. I have not and will never stray from you.”
She let out a little sigh of relief. “That’s good because I had this thought that I might have to kill you with that gun you’re hiding,” she winked.
I flexed my hips. “That isn’t a gun you are feeling, Lily,” I pointed out.
“Then what?”
