“That sounds perfect,” I admitted with a sigh.

“Here, let me show you the en suite bathroom here,” Kerian offered, tugging me off the bed. “If you don’t like this tub, there are about four others for you to choose from, but I think this one will do the trick. Suppose it helps that this was the nest the previous homeowners had put together for their Omega.”

My legs were a little shaky, but I managed once Kerian slipped his arm around my waist and held me close to his side. Before I could think better of it, I wrapped my arms around his middle and nuzzled his chest. I took a deep breath of his scent, letting that fresh citrus and juniper berry scent waft over me.

“God, I love how you smell,” I murmured, then froze as I realized how silly that sounded.

He didn’t say a word, just hugged me back, burrowing his nose into my hair. “Under the musk of sex, I think I can still make out your scent.”

I snorted then pinched his side, making him yelp and pull back. “What the hell, you little vixen.”

“That’s for saying I stink,” I quipped before attempting to stride toward the door I assumed to be the bathroom.

After five steps, my legs betrayed me, and I stumbled, almost crashing to the floor, but Kerian scooped me up. “I did not say the smell of sex on you was bad,” he pointed out. “All I said is it took effort to get past it to get to the real deal which I happen to enjoy immensely.”

“Whatever, Mr. Smooth Talker,” I grumbled.

He just chuckled and kissed my head as he shoved open the door. “We already put your things away here, so hypothetically, everything you need should be available.” Kerian set me on a chair that was placed before a lighted vanity.

The bathroom was stunning, which is a little odd to say about a bathroom, but it was the best word I had to describe the place. White and cream marble made up the floor and counters with little slivers of gold accent. Everything else was a crisp white color. However, the detailed woodwork is what elevated the space—crown molding along the ceiling, elegant carved designs on the front of the cabinet doors, and the gorgeous large corner windows that were the backdrop of where the tub sat. A tub that could easily fit three people with water jets as an added bonus.

“Holy shit.” The words just popped out of my mouth as I took in the room.

Kerian, who was already getting the tub started, just laughed. “I figured you wouldn’t have a problem using this tub. You even get a view of the backyard and Quin’s solarium.”

“What about my solarium?” Quintin asked as he entered the bathroom with a bag of Epsom salts as well as a large tumbler with a lid and straw. He offered me the glass, which I took greedily. “This one is mint, ginger, and lemon flavored. They say it’s supposed to help with stress and promote relaxation.”

“Well, who can’t use some of that in their lives?” I asked, taking a sip. “Oh fuck, that’s incredible. That’s it, I’m never drinking normal water ever again, not when it can taste this good.”

Quintin’s face lit up with such a radiant smile I was stunned by it for a moment. “I’m so glad you like them. I can’t ever seem to get the others on board.”

“What?” I gasped. “How can you not like this?”

Kerian rolled his eyes and snatched my tumbler from my hand to take a sip. He hesitated a second before looking at Quintin with narrowed eyes. “Why does this oddly taste close to your own scent? Just switch out the mint for some of that green tea you love so much, and that would be a dead ringer.”

“If I did that, then it would no longer be water but green tea. However, I might have been experimenting with an infusion you couldn’t resist,” Quintin commented as his lips twitched, trying to keep a smile off his face. “Why do you think I asked what my scent smelled like to you?”

“I don’t know. I suppose everyone is curious to know what others smell,” Kerian muttered as he snagged the bag of Epsom salts from his partner. “Don’t even try to make one for Halstead. I don’t think there is any vegetation that can make up that scent.”

“Yes, I’ll have to agree with you on that. However…” he paused, letting his gaze slide over to me, “… I believe a clove and cinnamon infusion might be something worth trying. Maybe add some apple or possibly orange to it as well?”

“Okay, now that does sound pretty fucking delicious,” Kerian agreed. “Guess you’ll just have to make it so we can test it against the real thing.”

It was at this moment my brain finally put all the pieces together. “You mean me?” I asked like an idiot, pointing to myself.

Quintin’s smile was back as he chuckled. “Yes, beautiful, I mean you.”

“Cinnamon and clove, huh?” I mused to myself aloud.

Moments later, Quintin scooped me up and carried me over to the tub, where he carefully lowered me into the steaming water. “Yes, you are enticingly spicy in the best way possible, which is why I didn’t grab the eucalyptus Epsom because it would cover your natural perfume that we all enjoy far too much.”

Why that had me blushing as he kissed me slowly and sweetly, I have no idea, but it seemed to be a superpower this man had. No one had ever been able to do that to me, and he’s managed without any effort to make it happen a handful of times.

“Now, soak as long as you like,” Quintin instructed as he pushed the button for the jets. “Once you’re done, get dressed and come downstairs so we can have some breakfast together.”

“Okay,” I whispered, feeling slightly overwhelmed by their pampering.

With a parting kiss from them, they left me to relax with my infused water in the most glorious bathtub I’ve ever experienced. I’d been in many a bathtub, but this one seemed so special. Maybe it had something to do with the leftover emotions tied to this whole room, having been a nest for another Omega who was clearly cherished by her pack. It made me curious as to who they were and why they ended up moving. Maybe Halstead knew who they were, and I could look them up to see what I could find on them.
