“God, I hope it’s to fuck me because that’s what I’m really wanting,” I answered, my own voice full of want and need.
Chapter 8
Nicolette
Nine snarled and shoved his face into the crook of my neck, letting his tongue play over my skin before nipping it. His hips ground against me, the feel of his jeans on my bare pussy a blend of pain and pleasure, but I could feel his cock hard as a rock trapped behind the zipper. Reaching out, I popped the button and started to pull the zipper when he grabbed my wrist, slamming it to the table.
“Wait,” he ordered.
“Why, we’re both adults here. If you’re willing, and so am I, then what’s the problem?” I pressed as my pussy wept with need.
“See, that’s the thing. If we keep going, it’s not going to be just us,” Nine explained. “You’re going into heat which isn’t uncommon for newly transitioned strong felines. What is unique about this situation is your lioness is calling all of us to meet her needs. Right now, you’re like catnip, something that we’ll get high on the second we get too close.”
I blinked up at him realizing how hard he was fighting to have this conversation right now. “So I’m guessing the only reason you’re able to have this conversation right now is because you’re alpha?”
“Yes,” he answered with more of a snarl. “So either you go back upstairs, and we all take a walk while you consider how you want this to go down or…”
“We have one big fucking orgy,” I finished.
He gave a jerky nod as the veins on the side of his neck started to become more pronounced from holding himself back. Turning my head, I took in the others who were all on their feet with the exception of Circus, who was sitting on the table watching me with a feral predatory gaze.
“What happens after this?” I questioned, looking back to Nine. “If I let you all pet my kitty during my heat, do things change between us? Are you mated, bonded, tied to each other in any way?”
A deep rubbing laugh pulled my attention to Rambler. “Oh babe, that ship’s already sailed. Your lioness knew what she wanted the instant you survived the transformation. We all felt it, the pull marking us as compatible.”
“What—” I started to ask when Nine ran his tongue up my exposed neck, making me shiver. “Fuuuccckkk,” I rasped.
“We are not only the leadership of the Savage Pride but also the strongest males the pride has to offer,” Nine murmured along my skin.
“Your lioness is by far the strongest female in the pride. There is no question about that. Females choose who their partners are, and to be clear, it’s never just one, especially during a heat. When a powerful female such as yourself claims her males, no one else can have them unless they can prove to be stronger than you.” Nine kissed along my bare flesh as he spoke, slowly opening my shirt to expose more. “If you choose to sleep with us during this heat, then your lioness won’t let anyone else have us.”
Trying to think clearly as a man was setting your skin on fire was a fucking challenge. “If I understand this right, as alpha male, you get to rule the pride and order the rest of us around. However, am I something like a female alpha who is in charge of the females? And that what I want and claim is mine unless someone can take me out from being top bitch?”
“In a nutshell, yes,” Nine answered. “You will never be a leader or have a place of power in the MC, but within the pride, you will be something similar to being queen to my king. Mind you, that applies to pride matters only, so don’t build up any hope of climbing the ladder in the MC. As archaic or chauvinistic as it might seem to you, a woman’s place isn’t being part of the crew.”
“Is that so,” I murmured, letting my nails run along his arms.
When I felt him relax into the touch, I used the opening to dig my claws into his flesh, get my feet on his thighs and toss him over my head. Not realizing my own strength, I flipped him over the width of the table so he landed on his feet in a crouch. Shoving off the table, I got to my feet and whirled to face him, not willing to have him at my back for long. Tossing his hair out of his face, he glared at me with a sneer tugging at his upper lip. I grinned, pleased to see a real expression on his face instead of the aloof alpha look.
“Don’t worry your pretty head. I’m not looking to challenge you,” I informed him. “I don’t want to climb the ladder, be in power, or control the pride. Fuck, that’s the last thing I want for my life. However…” I paused for added effect. “The part you and I are going to have issues with is not allowing me to be part of the crew. I’m a fighter. It’s all I know and where I feel most comfortable. You can’t tell me I wouldn’t be an asset with my skills if shit hits the fan.”
“Is that so,” Nine commented as he stood. “Prove it.”
With that challenge, he flew over the table right for me, but I twisted out of the way. Looking around, I realized I didn’t have much room if the other men in the room joined in. I caught a glimpse of a door that appeared to lead outside. It seemed as good a plan as any right now.
“What do you say, boys? How about we take this back to basics,” I said, slowly turning so I was at a better angle to get to the door. “Survival of the fittest and all that jazz. Let’s see who’s worthy enough to get a piece of this tail while I show you just how valuable I can be to your crew.”
Without waiting for their answer, I bolted for the door and shifted midair before crashing through the glass window in the back door. Nimbly I landed on my feet, giving a satisfied yowl before tearing off across the open field to the forest that butted up to the property, making it clear just how far outside the city we were.
Fuck, if this didn’t end well, I was going to have a hell of a time getting away since I had no fucking clue where I was. I’d have to worry about that later.
Right then, I had a game to play with some macho kitties. Plus, I hoped it would end in lots of orgasms.
My lioness loved the ability to run full on, stretching our limbs and really getting a feel for each other. This wasn’t the plains of Africa, but it would do for now since the other alternative would be being cooped up in the house. My claws extended, giving me extra traction in the dirt, but I had to remind myself now wasn’t the time to get lost in the moment. Soon enough, there would be five felines on our tail, and I had a point to prove.
Once I made it into the shaded forest, I scanned the area, trying to plan my next move. Leaning on my lion’s instinct, I dove for a group of bushes, dropping low and crawling on my belly into the underbrush. Keeping my ears sharp for any sound, I kept moving. Catching a scent on the breeze, I paused, allowing my brain to process what it was that I was smelling—deer. Or to my lioness—prey. She wanted so badly to hunt, but now was not the time or place for that shit to happen.
Back on the same agenda, I decided to use the bright idea of following the trail of where the deer came from. If I’d gotten so sidetracked by it, maybe the other would as well, helping to mask my scent. Rising to my full height, I booked it, charging ahead, following my nose as I wove between trees. Then I caught a glimpse of something in the trees seconds before it dropped. Putting on the brakes, I skidded to a halt aiming for a tree that I used to push off of to throw myself out of its path. By the time my brain connected to who and what it was, I’d hightailed it out of there—leaving a disgruntled Circus behind.
