Void eyed me wearily before he nodded. “You’ve killed, had sex, had some food, and I know you won’t sleep, so I was trying to see what other options there were.”

“God, I fucking love you,” I blurted as I grabbed his face and yanked him down to kiss me.

While Void was one scary motherfucker, the beast who lived inside him purred for me. He was right when he called us soul mates because I don’t think there was another person on this earth who could possibly be as perfect as he was. If I were being honest, I would say that about all of them. None of them were perfect, but together, they filled in where another lacked, and it took all seven of them to keep my insane ass alive.

Void’s large hands wrapped around my ribs, holding me still as we devoured each other. Sure, we’d already had sex on the battlefield earlier today, but I’m not sure I’d ever get enough of these men. Eventually, he pulled back with a quick sweet kiss on my lips before he resumed drying me off and cleaning up the mess Cognac left behind. No one could ever argue these men weren’t secure in themselves when one was cleaning up another man’s cum from between my legs.

“Ice cream,” he announced.

“What?” I asked, not following his train of thought.

“You need ice cream and cuddles.”

His suggestion had me perking up. “Does Eagle allow ice cream in this house? I know how he feels about junk food and things that aren’t made from scratch.”

Void gave me a toothy grin. “Our beloved president has a large soft spot for frozen milk flavored with pecans.”

“Of course, he would like the grandpa flavor,” I muttered. “Got something else to offer?”

“My personal favorite would be death by chocolate, and I know for a fact there is a tub of it in the freezer,” he shared.

“Yup, you are absolutely getting a blow job later,” I assured him as I rolled off the bed and grabbed a pair of Eagle’s boxers.

If they were going to keep ripping my underwear, then I was going to start wearing theirs instead. Slipping one of his T-shirts on, I was comforted by the smell of him still attached to it. It was then I realized part of my agitation was the fact that he wasn’t here with us and that I had to leave him behind in Vegas.

“Can I have your cell to call Eagle?” I asked.

“Of course, you can, little demon,” he said, offering it to me. “Do you want me to stay, or would you rather talk to him alone?”

“I’ll come out after I’m done talking to him. We all know he’ll want a report from Picasso, the control freak that he is,” I answered.

Dropping a kiss on my head, he left me to curl up in Eagle’s chair, and I dialed his phone. I wasn’t sure he had it, but it was worth a shot. If he didn’t answer, then I would call Dani and have her hand it over.

“It’s about goddamn time you called, you ugly bastard.” Eagle snarled into the phone.

I couldn’t help but snort at that. “If that’s how you talk to him on the phone, it’s a wonder he calls you ever.”

“Little hellcat.” He purred into the phone. “Fuck, I miss you.”

“It’s only been a few hours since I saw you, and you’re not the one who believed you might be dead for half the day,” I shot back.

“Dax,” Eagle countered in a knowing voice. “What happened?”

“What didn’t happen,” I grumbled. “The guys are pissed at me, you’re in the hospital, the FBI is here passing judgment, and I just can’t deal with it all right now.”

“In other words, you hit your limit on shit you can handle all on your own,” Eagle stated, making me cringe at how right he was.

Kicking my feet over the armrest, I leaned into the back of the chair. “I don’t like them mad at me, and I don’t know how to fix it. Well, okay, Cognac basically told me how, but he makes it sound so simple. You understand, as leaders, we do what is best for our people regardless of how they will feel about it later because they’re still alive to bitch about it.”

“Well, I’ll be damned, is Two Tricks coming to me for advice on how to deal with people?” Eagle teased.

“No, your wife is,” I shot back, then paused, realizing that I actually liked saying that.

“Yup, I’m gonna need to make that happen really quick because fuck, do I love the sound of that coming out of your mouth, little hellcat,” Eagle commented to himself.

“Enzo,” I warned.

“Hey, now, no name calling,” Eagle shot back. “Tell me everything from the moment you got taken, and I’ll see what advice I can offer when it comes to the guys.”
