“That’s one.”
She swung it again, piercing her in the side.”
“That’s two.”
The DuPont family’s screams echoed while everybody watched as she swung that damn bat four more times, piercing her on the other side, ribs, chest, and neck. Blood poured from her mouth and open wounds as Mia geared up for the final swing. I could tell she put her all into it because when she cracked her in the head, the bat got stuck and Jackie stopped moving.
JacQues sat with a look of horror on his face as he watched his firstborn hanging there lifeless. JJ was in full blown tears and Alissa had pissed herself again.
“One down, three to go,” Mia said. “Baby, you wanna take the one?”
I smiled. “Hell yeah. Your turn, baby boy. This one might get a little messy.”
I picked up the all white coverup and stepped into it. Once I had on all the protective gear, I picked up the chainsaw. The sounds of the DuPont’s’ protests were drowned out as I cut it on. JJ was kicking like he could go anywhere, so I took the first swipe at his leg. He screamed bloody murder as I cut the first one off.
Blood poured from the open wound and gathered on the floor in a pool.
There went the second leg.
“Stop!” JacQues yelled. “Don’t make him suffer!”
“He won’t suffer much longer.”
Raising the chainsaw, I drove it into his abdomen. JJ began choking on his own blood as his cries ceased. By the time I pulled the chainsaw out, his head had dropped, and he was silent. I turned the chainsaw off and tossed it to the floor.
“That makes two.”
“We saved wifey for last,” Mia said to JacQues, who was bawling like a baby. Mia grabbed his face, forcing him to look at her. “You know she was willing to give you up? Said she would tell us any and everything she has on you if we spared her.”
His eyes darted to his wife, who was hanging there, sobbing and praying.
“I actually don’t feel like playing with her. I’m anxious to have a turn at you, so I’ll make hers quick.”
Pulling her gun, she walked over to Alissa, who was shaking her head.
“No! No, no, plea—”
Mia pulled the trigger, shooting her right between the eyes. Her head slumped forward and her body stilled.
“Guess that just leaves you,” she said, turning to JacQues. She looked behind him to Smoke. “Cut him loose. I’ll give him a semi-fair fight.”
Smoke smirked as he flipped open the switchblade. He made haste in cutting the ropes that bound JacQues to the chair while I stripped out of the bloody cover up. As soon as he was done, he sent his fist flying into the back of that man’s head, causing him to fall forward.
“Get the fuck up,” I said, pulling at my pants.
He rolled around on the floor, groaning in pain. He wasn’t moving fast enough for me, so I lifted my boot and kicked him in the face.
“I said get the fuck up!”
He stumbled to his feet and met the blows of my fist. I had to give it to him, bloody dick and all, he kept his balance as I rained down blows. He tried to fight back, but it wasn’t hitting on shit. I hit him with a final uppercut, landing him on his back.
Just as he went to pull himself to his feet, my wife came behind him with a piece of the rope and wrapped it around his neck. He gasped and clawed at it, trying to loosen her grip, but she put every ounce of strength into the hold she had on him.
“You took my baby from me,” she whispered, tears streaming down her cheeks. “You fucking took her. Look at your family, JacQues. Dead. You did this to them.”
She released the rope, and he dropped to the floor, gasping for air.
“Just…kill…me,” he said between pants. “Get it… over… with.”
