Well, that’s not technically true, but he is so far out of Brooke’s league, and she’s not even real. Even if I wanted to pursue something, I couldn’t. Everything about my life since I met him has been based on a lie. I could tell him, admit everything, but Sophia has been so good to me, has begged me not to damage her relationship with her son, and I know there’s tension between them. And the last thing I want to do is cause further issues.
Most of all, I know Alex will never be able to trust me again.
