“Don’t cum all over yourself,” I snickered, standing up from my seat in the cabana we were occupying.

“Girl, I don’t know why you don’t take that shit off. With the type of body you got… my ass would have been out here booty ass naked.” Natalie had been trying to get me to take my cover up off since we got here.

I waved her delusional ass off. We were basically the same size, my hips might have been a tad bit wider. Other than that, her ass was just as big as mine. I barely had any titties while Natalie had double D’s that made my titties look like mosquito bites.

“I’m good,” I sighed as I looked around the pool area. I wanted another drink, but the two bars up here were packed, and I didn’t feel like waiting in those lines… not in these heels I was wearing. “Come with me real quick. I wanna see if the lines for the bar are less packed on one of the other floors.”

“Hell no. I’m not finna miss my chance to bag a nigga for you to get a drink. I’ll save your spot,” Natalie said with a straight face, and I wanted to smack the shit out of her.

This was most definitely our last time kicking it together. The duck shit she was on, I didn’t do. Natalie was acting like these niggas was finna disappear if they were out of her sight.

“Cool,” I replied sarcastically.

“Get me another drink, too, boo!” Natalie called out to my back, and I flipped her stupid ass off. If I brought her back a drink, she better not drink it.

I wasn’t afraid to do nothing alone. I was born alone, and I was going to die alone. Going to get a drink by myself was nothing. I really wanted to use Natalie as a buffer for the niggas who I’m sure were going to do everything in their power to get my attention. I already knew that I stuck out like a sore thumb with my neon pink, mesh cover up, with a split that went all the way up my side. Giving a full view of my left leg where it ruched at the side. The bright pink color popped against my chocolate skin. The tiny two piece thong bikini was the reason I didn’t want to walk around without my cover up. I wasn’t shy per say; I just didn’t want all the extra attention that would come with me removing my cover up. I underestimated Natalie when she spoke on this party.

Ignoring all the niggas pulling on me as I confidently strutted past them with my head held high. I was far from stuck up. I wasn’t the type of female who thought they were too good for niggas to talk to them. I didn’t care for the way the niggas were coming at me. So, the lie about me having an imaginary boyfriend easily rolled off my tongue to all these niggas. I was happy I was the only person on the elevator, or at least I was until a hand caught the door and my eyes rolled in the back of my head when I came face to face with Will.

“Get the fuck on. This elevator full, fuck nigga,” I angrily spat, smacking his hand down from the elevator door.

“The fuck you got on?” Will asked with his face bawled up.

“Don’t worry about it!” I snapped, catching Will off guard. I pushed Will backwards, he stumbled. I hurriedly pushed the close button on the elevator.

Will wasn’t about to ruin my fucking day with his bullshit. I was supposed to go the bar in Daria’s the club on the floor below, but in my haste to get away from Will, I hit the wrong button and ended up at Fire Hawks, the restaurant they’d rented out too. It was a lot quieter here, and I said fuck it, since there was a hell of a lot less people in here.

I did a happy dance when I saw the bar was empty. There was an empty glass to the left of me when I sat down, but I paid it no mind. I was too focused on getting me a drink and a shot. Seeing Will had blown the little buzz I had, I needed to get back into my zone. When the bartender came over, her funky ass acted like she didn’t want to help me, but she made my margarita and my shot. I took my shot of tequila to the head.

“You too fine to be takin’ a shot like a nigga.” I almost choked when I heard the smooth baritone voice coming from my left side.

“Shit,” I cussed, trying to stop myself from coughing.

“My bad, lil’ mama. I ain’t mean to scare you.” I turned to look at the bright smiling face next to me. I swear I fell in love as soon as I looked into his cognac colored eyes.

He was tall, no shorter than 6’3, wild, curly shoulder-length black hair, a full thick beard, goatee, and diamond grills covering his pretty smile. He had the build of a basketball player–he was skinny but not super skinny. He still had muscle on his body. His arms were covered in various tattoos. He was fresh in his pink Polo shirt, jeans, and custom Jordans that matched his shirt. He wore one iced out chain with a diamond encrusted cross pendant. I wasn’t sure who this nigga was, but he had to be a gift God made specifically for me. If the fact that we were both wearing pink wasn’t a sign, I didn’t know what was.

“You’re fine. You scared the shit outta me. I didn’t think anyone else was in here,” I said once I got my coughing under control.

“That’s why I’m here. All that partying shit ain’t me,” he cooly said, pausing to order a drink. I saw the stars in the bartender’s eyes, and I figured he was the reason she didn’t want me sitting here.

“I feel that. I be like that, too, but I needed a day out,” I sighed.

“Oh, yeah? Ion take yo’ pretty ass as they type to deal with a nigga’s bullshit.”

“I don’t. I ain’t even tripping off a nigga forreal. It’s my cousin sneaking and fucking him behind my back that I ain’t fucking with. Really, I’m annoyed I let a weak ass nigga breathe the same air as me for so long.” I got an attitude as soon as I thought about Will.

“Family don’t be shit forreal, either. They be the first to cross you.” He smirked at me then slyly winked at me.

I don’t know why that little gesture made my pussy come to life.

“Tell me about it,” I agreed, sneaking peeks at him out of the corner of my eyes. A nigga this fine had to have a girlfriend tucked away somewhere. “What’s your name?”

He gave me an odd look like he thought I was playing with him. “Stop playin’ with a nigga.”

My eyes got big, I was truly confused. “What?” He smiled at me, causing me to smile back at him.

“You don’t know who I am?” He still had that boyish grin on his handsome face.
