Trit shouted, “My turn, the first time? Did we know this?” I shrugged, “Who can keep up with all my kidnappings? The first time these crazy guys thought they were Demons….” I trailed off then yelled, “OH MY GOD! THEY WERE ACTUALLY DEMONS!”

Melanie must have come up for air because she confirmed, “Yeah…. They kind of were… and I totally killed them… and more after I made sure you were safe.” Of course she did. I muttered, “Then Roxie is a Werewolf too. She was horrified I didn’t know about the Supernatural world. You can help me find her, right Melanie?”

Melanie agreed, “Of course.” Her Xander disagreed, “I don’t know about that. I might just lock you in our room, wife of mine.” Melanie snorted, “I’d get out. Plus… I just need a laptop to find someone. Which sounds…. like I’m bragging…. but it’s just a fact.”

Oh my god. Melanie was back in my life and still saying things like that. I loved it too much. Her Xander growled then popped in front of me causing me to jump. My, technically, nephew held his hand out and a warm sensation took over me.

Melanie’s Xander smiled, “Hello, aunt of mine.” I snorted, “That’s just weird.” Alexander smiled, “My grandpa can’t wait to meet you.” Tatum whined in my head. I whispered, “My dad?” Melanie’s Xander nodded, “Yes. He never knew about you.”

Relief hit me even though Melanie had said that. Tatum said, “He can’t lie.” I replied, “I know. Melanie mentioned he can’t lie. I thought she meant he was bad at it, but something tells me it’s a Supernatural thing.” Tatum confirmed, “It is.”

Alexander continued, “When my grandma, his mate, died grandpa was out drinking at bars a lot. He was drunk as a skunk when your mom was with him. He thought she was my grandma for some reason that I have not been filled in on yet, because I wanted my mate back.”

Caspian snorted, “I can tell you the reason. To the weak willed in our snare, we can appear like someone else to them. My mother is particularly talented at that. A drunk Werewolf would be easy enough if Morgana saw her picture. She could even exude a scent for a time. Nathan probably really did think it was his mate.”

I asked, “Why wouldn’t she tell him? She told Lux’s dad.” Caspian gritted his teeth, “Because you are a girl. I believe she was having boys to raise an army. She needed Lux’s father to teach him to be a fierce wolf Warrior, because she couldn’t. A girl, well she had other plans for.”

I snorted, “Yeah, to get me killed.” Melanie’s Xander roared in anger. Melanie muttered, “It’s so sexy… I know it’s sexy… I already said that.” Oh my god. Did she talk to her wolf out loud?! Tatum answered, “Yes, she does.”

Caspian looked at me. I whispered, “She doesn’t know she’s talking out loud.” Several people snickered. Delana offered, “That’s not the plan Morgana had for you. You were supposed to be living in the lap of luxury.”

I scoffed arguing, “Being raped and married to an abusive dick isn’t the lap of luxury.” Melanie’s Xander growled, “That will NEVER happen.” Wow. I believed him. Tatum agreed, “It won’t. Freya said their family has trauma about his mom’s childhood. They will not let Luke touch us.” Sassy felt pretty smug about that.

Delana nodded, “Well, yeah ok. I believe him, for the record. Wow. That was a whole tone, Melanie’s Xander.” My nephew actually smirked. Delana cleared her throat, “Since we are here, and safe, I have something to say. I, Princess Delana Marmara, reject Prince Luke Merrick as my song now and for all eternity.”

Melanie frowned, “Merrick?” I nodded, “Yeah… that’s a story.” Melanie nodded. Her Xander said, “We should get to Keaton, he’s desperate to see Odette.” I squealed, “Can we Caspian?” My big brother said, “It will take us some time to get back.”

Melanie disagreed, “No…. I mean… saying your wrong is rude… but accurate. Because… it’s a pop or portal away. How did you get here, Xander?” Her husband answered, “I portaled. Popping is too loud and you’d know I was coming. I wanted to sneak up you, Lovebug”

I gasped, “AWWWW! LOVEBUG! That’s so cute!” Melanie giggled, “Right?” I nodded. Her family called her Ladybug, so it was super cute. Delana offered, “I don’t know why they think it’s so cute, but I have to agree. That is cute.”

Caspian urged, “Open your portal then, Alpha Alexander.” I teased, “Uhh his name is Melanie’s Xander.” Caspian threw his head back and laughed, “I’ll call him Alpha Alexander.” Melanie’s Xander said, “Call me Alexander. You are my aunt’s brother, and that’s what Lux calls me.”

Caspian asked, “What is my brother’s last name?” Alexander answered, “Bartlett.” I raised my fists in the air victoriously. I did a little dance cheering for myself, “I really found him. I had a meeting set up with him and everything.”

Caspian ruffled my hair, “Morgana really went deep not letting us find him. We found no record of Lux Bartlett when we looked. In his own family even but didn’t find him. We thought Theo would be close enough to the Conners for our mom.”

I frowned, “Then why could I find him?” Melanie jumped in, “I think… well… several things… but… definitely… because you were already breaking the magic…. around your mind, down. That’s what Freya said…. and other reasons… require… more research. You met some of your family and met Keaton… it was breaking for you.” I nodded knowing Melanie truly meant she needed to do more research.

I told my brother, “Mel loves her research.” Melanie agreed, “I do… like a lot.” Tatum chuckled, “Your memories tell me that’s an understatement.” It was. I asked, “Hey Mel, that scream when you broke the magic, was that Valdoma?” Tatum snarled in my head.

Melanie’s eyes flashed with intense anger as she growled, “Yes.” I said, “Well, she’s creepy so that’s good.” Melanie gritted out, “She’s who took Freya from me…. and she’s who kept Tatum from you.” I gasped, “That bitch!”

That was how she helped mom, she gave me those pills! Tatum answered, “That is accurate and I hate BOTH those women.” Good, I did too. Melanie added, “She’s also the one… who had your mind magically… altered…. To reject the Supernatural… which is just… unethical… when you think about it.”

Well, I figured that one out from our talks, but Melanie had a point. It was definitely unethical for a Supernatural being to force another to think they were going crazy from signs of the Supernatural. I told my wolf, “I am so sorry.”

Tatum said, “It’s not your fault. You had no way of knowing. It must have been terrifying to think you were crazy. I know you were locked up in that place. I should’ve waited until we were alone to talk to you. I shouldn’t have said anything in front of that horrid boy.”

It wasn’t Tatum’s fault, but that definitely would’ve been different. Or not, Luke clearly knew what I was. It was probably the plan either way. Sassy hissed in my head feeling like Luke was truly evil, which was completely accurate.

Melanie’s Xander opened a portal, which was the coolest thing ever. He could teleport AND open a portal. Yeah, Melanie’s obsession with him was aligning for me. Tatum cackled in my head. We ended up in Caspian’s house.

I heard Keaton talking and squealed, “KEY!” Melanie’s Xander snorted, “Keaton has always hated nicknames. Something tells me he loves that one.” I turned, “Whatever you say, Xander boy.” My nephew smirked.

Trit laughed, “Caspian, our little sister is such a handful. Imagine how mischievous she will be after hanging around partial Fairies and their Princess.” Caspian laughed, “Wonderful.” I winked, “One of my friends is definitely a Fairy.”

I ran into the room and met Keaton halfway since he was running to me. My boyfriend picked me up and spun me around. Tatum scoffed, “He is our mate.” Sassy hummed smugly like she knew it all along. Keaton laid the mother of all kisses on me.
