May asked, “Are you ok, Katie?” I nodded then got my stuff out of my locker. Keith and May were waiting at Keaton’s truck. I asked, “What’s going on?” Keaton kissed my forehead, “I have a surprise for you, my Song.” He drove us to the parking lot we had our driving lesson in.

I asked, “Is everyone subject to my bad driving?” Keaton laughed, “You’re not that bad, but no. We are going inside.” I questioned, “Into an empty building?” Keaton just smiled. We walked inside and I gasped because someone has renovated the whole place. It didn’t look shut down at all.

I asked, “Who did this? I thought you said…” Keaton interrupted, “I bought it for you with my dad and we had it all fixed up. What do you say, Katie? Do you want to roller skate with us?” I wiped furiously at my tears. I nodded, “Yes.” I threw my arms around him and whispered, “I love you, Key.” Oh, shit. I did not mean to say that out loud.

True Feelings

Keaton drove to Odette’s. When I got their Ken was clearly waiting for me. I asked, “Can I help you?” Ken admitted, “I don’t know. I’m trying to keep an eye on your girlfriend, but she disappeared for a while. Maybe ask where she went.”

I laughed, “I won’t lie and tell you that’s high up on my list of things to ask when I get up there.” Ken rolled his eyes, “Fine. Katie came back with bags from a sex shop. There were a lot of condoms in them. Try not to use them all tonight.” I left him in my dust.

Channing purred in excitement. The elevator would’ve taken too long so I took the stairs three at a time. I knocked on Odette’s door, already salivating. Channing growled, “Break the door down.” I told him, “We can’t do that.” Channing snarked, “Grandpa owns the building so yes we could.”

Odette told me to come in. My brain stopped working the second I saw her. My mate looked sexy with swords. Ok, I officially need to skip driving lessons. We should just have weaponry lessons because this look was hot and I could drive her anywhere she wanted.

Channing snorted, “We’ve only given one driving lesson, mate still can’t drive.” He had a point, but we had other priorities. Besides, we could drive her and Odette could be our passenger Princess forever. That had merit. Channing snickered in my head.

Odette and I started making out. I was gone the second she sucked on my tongue. I pushed her up against the wall. I heard her panicking and screaming my name. I pulled back wondering what was going on? Before I could ask Odette slammed her lips back on mine.

I groaned, “Odette.” I ripped her Deadpool outfit open before sucking her nipple into my mouth. My mate tasted heavenly. Odette began singing her song, and I lost all semblance of control. We didn’t manage to leave the living room. I didn’t remember getting to her bed, but I felt my head on the pillow.

I woke up to Channing’s angry voice, “Get up!” I startled awake finding Odette beside me. It looked like she’d been crying. What happened? I linked Channing, “What’s wrong?” My wolf was still growling, “Something is wrong with mate. Protect her!”

I asked, “From what?” Channing replied, “I don’t know. It’s like something is pulling her from us. Wake her up!” Shit! I began to talk to Odette. After several moments she opened her eyes and Channing calmed down.

My need for my mate snapped when she said my name. I noticed she’d bought condoms from Eric’s company. I wondered how she stumbled on them. Keith linked me, “So school, it’s this place we attend during the weekdays. I realize you don’t know this because you are not here.”

I replied, “We aren’t going to make it. I don’t know what’s going on, but we can’t stop. I can’t stop; I need her.” Keith linked, “Alrighty then, we will handle it. The basketball season got suspended indefinitely due to rogues.” What the fuck?! Whatever.

After a few hours Keith replied, “Handled. Immy is getting Katie’s homework and Clara has yours. Don’t forget you’re picking up Allison and Arden.” I did remember that. Somewhere in the recesses of my brain, that was a thing I knew.

When we finished, we went to check on Tatum who was perfectly fine. I asked Channing, “What is this dog? It’s not actually a dog, is it?” Channing answered, “It doesn’t seem to be a normal dog, but it’s not a person shifter type thing if that’s what you mean.”

I snorted, “I already told her to shift and she didn’t.” Channing told me, “I can communicate with Tatum. I’m not sure what’s going on, but so far, I’m going with highly intelligent dog that is here to protect our mate.” That was weird.

I took Tatum outside. Ken winked at me as I walked by. I asked, “Did you take Tatum out?” Ken frowned, “No, you would’ve heard me come in and I would’ve linked you if I did.” I sighed, “Alright.” I took Tatum outside towards the woods.

Once we were alone, I asked, “Ok, are you a dog?” Tatum tilted her head and yipped. I sighed asking, “Are you here to protect Odette?” The dog jumped and excitedly yipped. I asked, “Are you just a dog? My wolf doesn’t think you’re a person. Are you?” Tatum shook her head.

I asked, “So, you have no human half?” Tatum shook her head again. I narrowed my eyes, surmising, “But you’re not a normal dog.” Tatum happily yipped. Ok, I could live with that. I told her, “Interesting. Let’s get back.” Tatum went to the bathroom, and we got back into the apartment.

I got Tatum a cold piece of pizza which she happily started to eat. Odette was in the shower. Channing chuckled, “Who can resist such a tempting situation?” Not me. I didn’t even want to. My mate gave me head then didn’t want me to return the favor because we would be late to pick up my siblings.

I was literally stunned because that had never happened to me. Plus, Odette really seemed to enjoy giving me head. I could smell her arousal. I couldn’t figure out why she was prioritizing picking up my siblings over her own orgasm.

Channing was purring in my head. We were in love with Odette for so many reasons, but she kept making us fall for her even more. Channing agreed, “Mate is the best.” She was and the fact I dealt with that other shit was mind boggling. What had I been thinking? The sex with Lisa wasn’t enough to stay around for, that’s for sure.

When we reached pack lands Benji linked me, “HOT DAMN! Look at her! WOWZA! I would ask for condoms too. You get you some, Keaton Daniels! I am so proud of you right now. I’m actually fanning my face. I have quite literally never been prouder of you.”

“You jumped so far from your ex-girlfriend. This one looks nice. Your mom is going to be so pissed she’s not here. My dad just popped beside me so yeah. This is happening. The picture of you getting your mojo is coming together for me. By the way, the pack link is on fire.”

I checked the pack link noting Benji was right. Channing snorted, “Of course he is, Spark has Fairy blood, he can’t lie.” Spark was Benji’s wolf. Dad linked me, “Your girlfriend is at the pack house?!” I answered, “No, we are the school not the house. Technically, we are in my truck. We are just picking up Allison and Arden, like you asked.”

Dad growled, “Keaton Frank Daniels, why don’t you like me? Your mother is going to flip out.” I told dad, “I love you, old man.” Dad snorted. Emmett linked, “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW, KEATON?!” I replied “I was asked to pick up Allison and Arden. People were there when this occurred.” Emmett growled back at me. Everyone was very testy today.

Malachi linked me next, “Why?” I asked, “Why what?” He growled in reply. Zach linked afterwards, “Just so you know, a Gamma appreciates this. People should get a taste of the Gamma life every now and then, by not being in the loop.” I dryly replied, “Happy to help, Zach.” Zach chuckled.

Carter linked, “YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS AT THE PACK HOUSE?!” I replied, “Hello, little brother. No, she’s in my truck at the pack school.” Carter snorted. Colin linked, “You shit!” I snorted, “I love you, brother.”
