"Shit, same thang. You should’ve been changed the codes when you dumped her."

I looked at him. "She won’t get back in here."

Poncho laughed even harder. "Jeff let her up, didn't he?"

"Yeah, his dumbass did."

"She was probably flirting with his scary ass."

"She did more than flirt," Hulk chuckled.

Poncho leaned forward. "What she do?"

"She licked that nigga ear."

We laughed hard as hell.

"HELL NAH!" I shouted.

“Yeah, I watched the whole interaction on camera,” Hulk explained.

"That's why he let her upstairs," I chuckled.

"Jeff weak as a bitch." Poncho slapped the desk, still cracking up.

"Weak ain't the word," I agreed.

Poncho wiped tears from his eyes. "Hold on, so you called Hulk to put her ass out?"

I shrugged. "I wasn't finna argue with her."

"Nigga that’s funny as hell." He pointed at me.

"Man, kiss my ass."

"Oh, I know one person willing to do it and it ain’t me nigga."

I grabbed the nearest pen and chunked it at his head. He ducked, still laughing.

"Now, who’s emotional?" Poncho was on a roll. “Damn Jeff, I gotta school that nigga.”

"He gon' learn today." I flipped through another stack of invoices. "Anybody let somebody up to my floor without running it through me first, no matter who it is, they ass is done."

"I already figured that," Hulk said. "Wanted you to hear it before you handled it."

"I appreciate that."

“Don’t fire the man bro. Just give him a warning. You know he ain’t used to a bitch like Shania. He dates nerdy girls.”

“Yeah, I know. I’m not gon’ fire him.”

The laughter died down and it was time to get back to work. I nodded toward the laptop. "What did the warehouse do this weekend?"

Poncho looked down at his screen. "Everything moved. No hiccups. The trucks are already on the road, the clubs were packed all weekend, and the car lot sold seven vehicles. The shopping plaza's closing early this afternoon."

I nodded and signed another document.

"Good."
