His eyes light with excitement before he nods eagerly.

“Prove it.”

I’ve barely said the words when he suddenly plummets to his knees.

“Please, Hails,” he begs.

The sight of him down there does things to me.

Really, really good things.

Three words burn on the tip of my tongue, but nerves keep them in.

But then he blinks up at me with so much desperation, so much trust and willingness to do anything to make me happy, and they spill free.

“Crawl to me.”

He doesn’t miss a beat, dropping forward onto his hands and knees and closing the space between us.

Holy fuck.

I’ve never felt so powerful, so desired and wanted in my whole life.

My heart pounds dangerously hard, and my thighs are slick with my arousal.

Hayden’s eyes never leave mine, and I don’t realize until he stops before me that I’m no longer breathing.

“Please, Hails. I need you.”

Reaching out, I comb my fingers through his soft locks.

He leans into my innocent touch, desperate for more.

He whimpers when I remove my hand and step to the side.

“Come,” I demand, and he shuffles over without question as I lean back against the wall. His chest heaves and his eyes are everywhere, but the second I lift one foot from the floor and rest it on the chair beside me, opening myself up for him, there’s only one place he can look.

My clit continues to pulsate, and my core clenches with the need to feel something inside me.

It’s taking every single ounce of self-restraint I have right now not to just dive right in.

“Hails. Fuck. You’re…so fucking wet.”

“You did that,” I tell him honestly. “I was watching you standing there, waiting for me. You didn’t move.”

“You told me not to,” he counters.

I’ve lived so much of my life without a voice. I was surrounded by people who didn’t care what I said or what I thought.

But everything is different now.

I found my voice at work.

I thought it was enough. But I’ve recently discovered it wasn’t even close.

This is what I needed.

Someone who listens because they want to, not because they have to.
