CHAPTER ONE

BROOKE

After my group, Seven Belles, performed, a wave of pain hit my lower stomach making me double over as soon as I left the stage.

“Are you okay?” Jem asked.

“Yeah, girl. I think I need to sit for a spell.” But then it doubled up, almost knocking me to my knees.

“Are you sure?” She eyed me suspiciously.

No. I thought.

“Yeah.” I went to sit and felt my pussy gush with wetness that I knew was bad. I checked my phone and verified what the date was.

Shit!

Last month it came three days early, but I’d been tracking the medication that I was on. It was becoming less effective and I’d gone to the doctor for it. There was a waiting list for the better quality Omega drugs and I was on it. That didn’t matter when it was getting harder and harder to predict how many days early it was going to wear off. This time it was an entire week early and I hadn’t filled my prescription yet.

I noted the time and cursed. 10:58 p.m. There was no time to get it now when they closed at 11 and were thirty minutes away. However, I wasn’t safe walking around like this for multiple reasons. Human men couldn’t handle the smell. It drove them crazy and they’d do anything for a taste of my slick. Beta men were safer, they’d bow at my feet and ask to be of service though their semen only added to an Omega's arousal. It didn’t fix it. Alphas were the worst. They’d fight, kill, and take what they wanted if they were denied.

I needed to get the fuck out of here.

Dialing Ω11, I waited on the line for them to answer. They were a non-profit started by an Omega to keep us safe since humans didn’t know about us, Alphas often used and abused us, and Betas submitted to Alphas. This was our way of keeping one another safe.

“Omega one one, what’s your emergency?” The operator asked.

“I’m in a very public space and my heat just started.” I whispered into the phone as I made my way to the bathroom.

“Do you have any suppressants? Why aren’t you already taking them?" She asked quickly.

“Not with me. The ones that I do take have worn off a week early.” I sighed, ashamed to admit it.

“That means you’ve been on them too long. How old are you?” She asked.

“Thirty two.”

“You need twice as much as the bottle suggests if you’re taking Lavendereaux. Or are you taking Orangé? I’ll see what the rescue team has available.”

“Lavendereaux.” I panted, as heat floored my body. I had the door locked, hoping that would be enough buffer to keep my scent from spreading too much.

“Address?”

“7833 Rosendale Rd. I’m in the Zupas Performance Hall. The bathroom right outside of the stage, please hurry.” Another wave of heat hit me and I wanted to strip my clothes off so bad.

The leather body suit with chains seemed like a sexy thing to wear when the night started, but now it was trapping in the heat making me sweat so much that I was completely soaked underneath. I couldn’t tell what was happening where.

“Is there a shower in there or something to lower your body’s temperature?”

I looked around and panicked. “No.”

I knew the risks. If I didn’t get meds or rut soon, I was going to be in a considerate amount of pain.

“Are you able to remove your clothes?” She asked.

“I’m positive that no one is in here, but what will I do when they get here to escort me out?”

“They have reinforcements. Get those clothes off.” She said.
