“Who do you think will prospect now that Grail is a patched brother?” I ask Elias, deciding I should shower before the party.
“We have a couple of new guys throw their names in the hat,” Elias replies with a smirk, stepping into the shower stall behind me.
I lean my face up to the spray, letting the water run down my body. “I hope they know there’s a high likelihood of death. There were three of them two months ago.”
Elias snorts but remains quiet. I like that about him. He doesn’t always say a lot, but that's OK because I probably say enough for the both of us.
“Every Saint knows there's a chance you may not come home.”
I spin to look at him, his dark hair wet and slicked back, blue eyes on mine. “But not you. You come home to me every damn day, Revenant.”
“Always,” he replies, pressing a soft kiss to my lips. “I love you, Sassy.”
“I love you too. So much it’s almost scary.” He smiles softly down at me. “No, you don’t understand what sorts of crazy shit I’d do for you. That’s how much I love you.”
“I don't know, Sassy. I saw you kill three men, fight a cut slut, and torture two people. I’m pretty certain I understand exactly what type of crazy shit you’d do for me.”
OK, maybe he does know. Elias steps out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist. He lets me get an eyeful of his abs and that delicious groove that I’m pretty sure the classy girls call “cum gutters”, before holding a towel open for me. I step out and let him wrap me up, pressing a kiss to the center of his chest.
“Thank you, baby.”
“Anytime, sweetheart.” He pauses for a moment, watching me. “Am I spoiling you enough to behave yourself at this party?”
“Not a chance, big guy”.
Revenant
“You alright, kid?” I ask Grail as he gingerly sits next to me.
He rolls one of his shoulders, with a wince, “Yeah, I think Brake tried to dislocate it with his congratulations.”
“Suck it up, man. In other clubs they get branded,” Fog says, taking a pull on his vape and blasting us with a fucking green apple cobbler scented cloud.
Grail shudders a little and I huff, leaning back in my chair.
“Uh oh, incoming,” Fog mutters his eyes flicking over my shoulder. “You’re on your own, brother.”
I don’t need to turn around. I know that laugh.
“What the fuck?” Coyote mutters.
My brothers and I watch Sunny and Mercy as River and Brooks trail behind them carrying drinks and folding chairs. They set their chairs near us, before River hands Sunny a colorful drink.
“Thank you, prospect.”
Mercy ignores Gallows’ stare, sipping at her girly drink complete with a pink umbrella.
“Are you two fucking with my prospects?”
Sunny’s hand flies to her plump tits, eyes wide with horror. “We would never. We’re helping them be better prospects.”
“By making them carry your drinks?”
“We’re helping them build character.”
“Excellent character,” Mercy adds, closing her eyes and tipping her head back in the sun.
Gallows’ face softens as he watches his sister. Mercy has been lighter since Sunny burst into the Saint’s Outlaws clubhouse. There’s a friendship there that goes deeper than the brotherhood Mercy found with us. An understanding of some sort.
