Stone didn’t say a word to me. He just sat there, occasionally looking at his phone, completely calm like he hadn’t just kidnapped me. At one point, he started rolling a blunt that he’d seemingly produced from thin air, then sparked it up and started smoking like I wasn’t even sitting there.

I kept stealing glances at him, trying to figure out what he was thinking. But his face gave away nothing. He just stared out the window, his jaw set, smoking his blunt in silence.

I thought about Ish, hoped he was really going home like Stone said. Hoped he was okay. Hoped this whole nightmare would scare him straight and keep him away from the streets for good.

And I thought about what I’d just agreed to.

I’d offered myself to a drug kingpin. A killer. A man who could do whatever he wanted to me, and nobody would stop him.

But what choice did I have? It was either this or watch my brother die. And I’d make that trade every single time.

Still, I couldn’t help but wonder what was about to happen. What “however I want, for as long as I want” actually meant.

When the SUV finally slowed down, I looked out the window, I saw that we were in a nice neighborhood. The kind with big houses and manicured lawns. Not what I expected.

We pulled into the driveway of a two-story house that looked normal. Expensive cars parked outside, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

“We here,” Stone said, his first words to me since we got in the car.

The driver got out and opened Stone’s door. Stone stepped out and said, “Come on.”

Then he grabbed my arm and led me to the front door, unlocking it and pushing it open.

Stone turned back to the driver. “Leave. I’ll call you when I need you.”

The driver nodded and got back in the SUV. Stone watched him drive away, then turned to me.

“Inside.”

I walked through the door, and he followed, closing and locking it behind us.

The house was furnished but had that empty feeling, like nobody actually lived there. Everything was clean and in place, but there were no personal touches, no pictures on the walls, no signs of life.

Stone walked past me into the living room, and I followed. We stood there in the middle of the room, just staring at each other.

Now that we were alone, the tension between us was even thicker.

I took my time looking him over. His all-blackoutfit made his tattoos stand out even more. His arms were huge, muscles defined under the ink. His chest was broad, his waist narrow. He was built like a fucking god, and despite everything, I felt that pull of attraction.

This was the man who’d threatened to kill my brother. The man who’d kidnapped me. The man who ran a drug empire and probably had bodies on bodies.

And I wanted him.

“You gonna keep staring, or you gonna fuck me?” I asked, breaking the silence.

Stone’s eyes darkened. “You got a smart-ass mouth. It’s gon’ get you in trouble.”

“Oh well.”

I reached for the hem of my crop top and pulled it over my head, dropping it on the floor. Then I unbuttoned my jeans and shimmied out of them, kicking them aside along with my heels.

I stood there in just a red lace set hugging my curves, one hand on my hip, daring him with my eyes to make a move.

Stone’s gaze traveled over my body slowly, taking in every curve, every inch of exposed skin. I could see his jaw clench, could see the way his hands flexed at his sides like he was restraining himself.

“Turn around,” he said, his voice rough. “Touch your toes.”

I turned around without hesitation and bent over, placing my palms flat on the floor. I felt exposed, vulnerable, but also powerful. Because I knew he was looking. I knew he wanted me.
