We should have been getting ready to leave, but his bed was so comfortable. The window in his room faced the beach, and it was such a beautiful view. He even had a balcony that we tested out one night. I had to hold back my moans because I wasn’t trying to get us caught. He assured me that wouldn’t happen, but I didn’t want to take any chances.

“Ava, if you want to get to the store before they close, you might want to move your fingers.”

“Oop.” I snatched my hand away. “We have to get this stuff today because I need to grab a few things for one of my other clients,” I informed him.

Koda let out a yawn, then gently pushed me onto my back before he laid his head on my breasts. I noticed that was how he fell asleep the last few times we were together.

“That’s fine. Let’s just take a little nap.” He softly kissed the top of my left breast, then put his head back down.

It didn’t take long for either of us to fall asleep.

A little while later

After Koda and I took a nap, we got ourselves together and headed out. We stopped at a party supply store to pick up some stuff for his party, and for another client of mine. Then we went to a linen store because I wanted to get new linens for both parties, and some for me to keep in my office. I always tried to keep some extra things around in case of last-minute changes.

“Would you say you are closer to your brother or sister?”

“I can’t say if I’m closer to either because I tell them both pretty much everything. I mean, when we were younger, I shared more with my brother because he understood me. As adults, though, I equally share between them.”

“So she has to hear about your sexual escapades too?”

“Not in detail like I would tell my brother, but she knows some stuff.” He smirked.

We walked over to a table that had multiple different colored linens on them, so I went through to find some I could use. This particular store also had multiple clearance bins, and I wanted to check them out. Sometimes I got things on sale that I ended up never using, but I liked to be prepared for everything.

“She doesn’t tell y’all about her stuff, does she?”

Koda’s eyes turned into slits as his lips curled, and I cracked up.

“Ava, my sister knows damn well not to say anything about her and another man doing anything besides talking. She’s a virgin.”

“You know that for a fact?” He seemed so sure of it.

“I mean, I ain’t never asked her, but I know.” His eyebrows bunched and I laughed even harder.

“Wait, how old is she?”

“She’s thirty-three.”

I didn’t know his sister, but my guess was she wasn’t a virgin. It wasn’t impossible, but it was just a feeling I had. It was hard to find a virgin in her thirties these days. If she looked anything like her brothers, then she was pretty as hell and had probably had boyfriends over the years.

“And you think–” I paused. “You know what, never mind.” I giggled.

“What you trying to say, Ava?” Koda asked with his arms crossed over his chest and his head tilted to the side.

I laughed again and grabbed his arms to remove them from his chest. “Nothing, Koda. I don’t know your sister, so I can’t speak on anything she does. Do you like this?” I asked, holding up a black-and-gold tablecloth.

“It’s cool. What are you going to use it for? And don’t think I didn’t realize what you tried to do.” He leaned over and kissed my cheek.

I realized that he liked to randomly kiss my cheek, my forehead, and sometimes, he would kiss my shoulder.

“Nothing in particular, at the moment, but it would work in the restaurant, or I could use it for another client. Also, there was no reason for us to continue talking about your sister’s sex life or whatever.” I had to add thewhateverbecause I didn’t want to get him started. I’ve learned that he and his brother acted like their sister was innocent.

“Yeah, I could see those on the table at the restaurant. Maybe not every table but get a few of them. Maybe we can use them just to switch things up a little.”

“Good idea.” I grabbed a few, then tossed them in the cart, along with a few other things.

The other stuff we got was already placed in the trunk of Koda’s truck because he said he didn’t feel like carrying anything, and he refused to let me carry them. I wasn’t going to argue with him either, because some of the bags we had were too heavy to be carrying anyway.
