The finger pads of Daylin’s free hand coasted along my forearm, her non-verbal way of letting me know she saw how her touch had given a nigga goosebumps. If her ghostly touch and slight graze of her lips had me like this, I could only imagine once I was inside of her.
“You dangerous, baby.” I latched onto her eyes with my own now that she was seated so close to a nigga. “I’ve never told anyone even half of this shit.”
She appraised me for a moment, then said, “I’m honored.” Brushing her hands along my fade, she continued. “You said you value loyalty, so why do you associate with your twin?”
“I don’t for real, but he’s family, so he gon’ be at family shit. I do love his kids, though, and they’re innocent to all this. I don’t want them growing up feeling bad because they see how I am with Josias’ kids and wonder why they don’t get the same treatment. They’re another reason why I’m thankful I didn’t murk that nigga when I found out what he did, but also, I would’ve regretted catching another body and spending the rest of my life locked up over LaMia.”
She just stared at me intensely, like she wanted to say something, before seemingly catching herself and looking away, removing her hands.
“Let me clean up since you procured the food,” she offered. “I promise I will behave. I will wash these dishes then come right back down like a good little hostage.” She rose up, maneuvering our dishes so everything was on one tray as if I’d told her ass yes.
“You know I’m the one in charge, right? I kidnapped yo’ ass.” I ascended, towering over her as she grinned up at me, giggling.
“Yeah, I know you’re in charge,” she replied in a way that got my dick hard before she started switching toward the door, leaving a trail of her perfume or scent.
I had no choice but to follow since I hadn’t locked the door with my key when I came back with my food. Shit felt weird locking it when I was about to basically have dinner with her.
Daylin paused to allow me in front, and I led her up the stairs and toward the kitchen.
“Wash that shit good. I don’t wanna see shit left when I inspect it, or that’s yo’ ass,” I jested, making her cackle. In return, that shit had me smiling.
“Yes, sir. Anything else you want me to handle?”
“Stop talking like that, Daylin. Real shit.” I adjusted myself when she looked away.
The shirt she wore was oversized, but every sudden move she made put ideas in my head when the shit lifted some.
“You got some wine?”
“Wine on the job?” I frowned.
“Please, daddy?”
“Daylin.” I grinned when she started cracking up.
While she focused on the dishes, I grabbed a bottle of wine from the wine fridge and then one glass since I wasn’t really a wine drinker, before popping the cork and filling it.
She immediately took a sip once I handed the glass to her, not giving a fuck that she had wet, soapy hands.
“So, is this like your back-up house? I know damn well I’m not in your main shit.” She put the now empty glass out to ask for more.
Once I caught on, she set it down and got back to cleaning.
“It’s one of my houses that I sometimes stay at when I wanna be out the way.”
“Hmm, I see.” She finished up and dried her hands, grabbing her refilled glass to sip some while eyeing me over the rim.
“Chill out.” I stared down into her pretty face, feeling her seep into my chest like a rampant virus.
“What am I doing?” She hopped up onto the counter to sit, not caring about how the shirt rose up, exposing bits of her panties.
“Get down.”
“Get me down, Rakim.” She poured herself some more wine, peering out the window behind her as if we were kicking it under normal circumstances.
“You don’t want me to have to get you down, baby.”
“But I do.” She took some more sips and put the glass on the counter as I neared her.
