The golf cart stopped.

Rachel stepped off.

I stayed seated.

“I’ve become attached.”

“To the cart?”

The airport employee looked delighted.

Rachel looked tired.

I was standing before the screen fully lit.

Relief moved through me so quickly I nearly laughed.
