My heart sped up, my stomach twirling in circles.

The reaction my body had from her words left me curious. Who was this woman?

I had to meet her.

I couldn’t hold back any longer.

I didn’t write a note back. Instead, I took a shower and put on a decent pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I combed my hair and shaved. Sprayed on some cologne and made myself presentable.

And then I marched over to her cabin before I could change my mind.

I knocked on the door and waited.

No footsteps. No sounds.

I glanced towards the driveway and a car sat there. She must be home, right?

I knocked on the door once again and also rang the doorbell.

“Hold on! I’m coming.” A voice called out.

The door swung open and there she stood, her hair a bit wild, her cheeks flushed, in only a pair of short pajama bottoms and a tank top, her amazing curves on full display.

Holy fuck.

Seeing her from a distance didn’t bring her true justice.

She was beyond gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. Far more gorgeous than words could ever express.

“Hi.” Twila smiled shyly and my dick jerked to life.

My eyes fell to her breasts, her nipples on display, my dick growing harder by the second. I yanked my eyes away, hoping she didn’t notice, but desperate to take more of her in.

“Hi. Twila, is it?”

She nodded and licked her lips.

Holy shit. I was in big fucking trouble.

I wanted her. All of her. All for me.

First, I felt her words. Then I saw her face. There were no doubts. She was all mine.

CHAPTER THREE

Twila

“Okay you won’t believethis when I tell you, but you know the hot mountain man I told you about that lives next door?” I dipped my chip in salsa and popped it in my mouth, my sister, Mel, on speaker phone. It was our weekly chat, catching each other up like we used to do when I lived in the city. We’d meet up and have brunch or lunch sometimes depending on the night before. Now we met on the phone, and I missed seeing her in person.

“Yes, you seem to mention him every time we talk. Does someone have a crush?” Mel giggled into the phone, and I rolled my eyes, but who was I kidding. I had a serious crush. Especially now with all the notes.

“We’ve been exchanging notes by way of his cat.” I ignored her question and dropped the bomb of information.

“Wait what?” Mel shot back. “Run that by me one more time.”

“His cat has been coming into my yard. I loved on him and gave him treats and got the idea to scribble a note to myneighbor and tuck it in the cat's collar. He wrote back and so it continued.”

“Hold on, let me get this straight. You used his cat as your wingman?”
