Jace laughed and grabbed my face for a tongue-filled kiss, lining his dick up with the divot in my hip bone. He bit my lip gently before tipping his head back, his hips still rocking. “I’m so fucking close, Kayd.I could just rub off on you.” He rubbed against me with abandon and moaned. “Oh, shit. I’m serious.”

I reached between us and slipped my hand in his sweatpants to grip his dick. He lifted his hips just enough for me to pull him out. “As hot as it is when you come in your pants for me, babe, I want to feel you pulse in my hand when you unload.”

He shoved his sweatpants out of my way and fucked my hand as I pumped my wrist.

A knock sounded at the door.

“Fuck, don’t stop,” Jace groaned. “I’m about to come, Kayd.” His hips picked up speed and his eyes rolled backward.

“Jace, there’s someone—”

Jace gripped my wrist, holding it in place as he thrust harder into my hand and smashed his lips against me. “I don’t fucking care, baby,” he said sternly against my mouth. His head lolled back as he erupted with a groan. His come shot out of him, hitting my chest in bursts as he slowly relaxed the grip on my wrist and slowed his hips, moaning the whole time. Jace always looked sexy when he came, and the way his lips were parted in blissed-out pleasure was enough to have me growing hard again.

Another knock at the door snapped Jace out of his trance, that beautiful look of pleasure morphing into the responsible guy to whom I’d grown permanently attached. “Shit,” he cursed, looking down at the mess on my chest.

“You get the door,” I said. “I’ll clean up.”

Jace scrambled to his feet and pulled on his sweatpants as he made his way to the bedroom door. He gave my body one more appreciative glance before he pulled the bedroom door open, all of the sexy ink on hisbare chest on display as he left the room, making me jealous of whoever was on the other side of that door about to check out my gorgeous man.

I grabbed a towel from the floor and wiped the come off my chest, listening carefully to hear who it was.

“Oh, Jace. Thank God.” The sound of Olivia’s breathless voice pulled my attention to them with such force I nearly ran right out the bedroom door too. I found my sweatpants on the floor and pulled them on as I walked toward the hall, grabbing my glasses from the nightstand.

“Liv,” Jace exclaimed, “What’s going on?”

Is Kaylee okay?I opened the bedroom door and walked swiftly to the kitchen to join them.

“I’m so sorry to just drop by like this, but my mom is at the hospital with Carl. I was hoping you’d be able to watch Kaylee—” Olivia froze as her eyes landed on me. Jace looked over his shoulder.

“Hey, Olivia,” I said with a small wave.

“You two walking around without shirts on is too much.” Her eyes shifted between us, and her throat bobbed as she swallowed. If I didn’t know better, I’d say she looked positively lustful. “I’m sorry, I should have considered that you’d be here too. I should have called first.”

Jace reached for Olivia’s hand and the intensity in his eyes as he looked at her made my heart skip a beat. He looked at her the same way he looked at me, like he’d walk through fire for a smile. Jace seemed to love rarely but deeply. Once he loved you, you were his, and witnessing his love for Olivia only made me feel even more strongly about him.

“Don’t leave,” Jace said. “We’ll watch her together.”

Liv pushed Kaylee forward, looking between us again. “You really don’t mind? Mom’s been there for an hour already and she’s panicking.”

“What happened?” I exclaimed.

“My mother’s fiancé had a heart attack,” she said.

“Oh, Liv, I’m so sorry,” I said. “Do you want one of us to go with you?”

She looked between us and then at Kaylee. “No, I don’t know the visitation situation.” She bent down to Kaylee. “I’m going to go see Grandma and you’ll stay here with Jace and Kayden, okay?”

“Sure,” Kaylee said, shrugging off her backpack. “Kayden, do you want to see my new book about outer space?”

I grinned at the knowledge that she wanted to share something with me. “Sure, kiddo. Let me go get dressed first.”

“Okay,” she said, heading for Jace’s couch.

“Have you eaten breakfast, Peanut? We can make pancakes,” Jace said.

“Pancakes!” Kaylee yelled. “With blueberries?”

“Sure thing,” Jace said before turning to Olivia. “Are you sure you want to go alone?”
