Austin nodded and went to it. He let out a low whistle when he stepped inside. “God damn, Nick.”

“I may have made the sex room the one with the best bathroom,” Nick chuckled.

“I need a shower then,” Evie said.

“I’ll shower with you,” Austin called.

“Go do that,” I chuckled. “Nick and I will clean up.”

“I’m gonna make a run for it as soon as you’re out,” Evie snorted.

“All right. One, two,three.”

Nick and I pulled out of her and I stifled a laugh as she slid off me and took off for the bathroom. We heard Austin’s loud laugh as the water flipped on. He came back to us with a couple of towels, handing me mine and throwing Nick his.

“Go help her clean up,” Nick said.

Austin rolled his eyes at him, but was already headed back to the bathroom. I raised a brow at Nick.

We spent a couple minutes cleaning and tidying, but his body language was still stiff. Once we finished, I pulled him against me.

“What’s wrong?” I whispered.

“I . . .”

“Want me to hold you?”

His breath whooshed out and he nodded silently. I ran my hands over Nick’s shoulders, pulling him back onto the bed next to me. He turned over, his face fitting against the crook of my neck, his arms wrapping around my waist. I held him tight, breathing in his scent as I listened to the trickle of water from the bathroom. I could hear Evie and Austin giggle every couple minutes, and every time they did, it made me smile.

“I think I want this forever,” I whispered.

“Me too.” My brows shot up. Did he really mean that? His grip on me tightened even more. “Although I don't know about living withhim.”

I fought the urge to let my smile grow brighter. I was so certain it wouldn't take too much longer for those two to break, I just wasn't sure what was going to be the cause quite yet. But eventually, he'd figure it out. He'd figure out that Austin didn’t hate him. He'd figure out that he didn't hate anything about Austin. In fact, he'd figure out that he wanted Austin just as much as he wanted me and he wanted Evie.

Those two were such a prickly pair, yet I had no doubt in my mind they were meant to be.

Our lives had been turned upside down the last few weeks. I wouldn't change it for anything, though. For so many years, I’d been running from my past. Trying to heal from losing the woman I loved, so convinced that I would never care for another person again.

But then I met Evie. I met Austin. I met Nick. The three of them had healed all the broken pieces inside me, and I had so much hope for what we could do together.

“Would you sell your house?” he whispered.

I nodded, swallowing hard. I felt him relax more into me.

“I love it when you hold me,” he said.

My heart warmed. “And I love holding you. I love it when you hold me back.”

“Always,” he chuckled.

He leaned up, pressing soft kisses against the curve of my neck. I sucked in a breath, but I wasn't able to ignore the way that his kisses seemed to bring me back to life.

The door opened and Austin and Evie joined us on the bed. She ended up between Nick and Austin, of course, smelling sweet like citrus and vanilla body wash. Nick turned over and sprawled out, all his tattoos on full display, his cock soft against his thigh.

“So,” he said, clearing his throat. “What do y’all think of the BDSM room?”

Evie giggled and I cracked a smile. Even Austin couldn’t hide his grin.
