“All better?”

“Yeah,” she whispered. “All better.”

Madi let out a hum. “Note to self, trip over things and get scratches so our boyfriend can patch me up.”

Boyfriend.I audibly sucked in a breath and while I felt June’s leg tense in my hand, forced an easy smile. “That’s what I’m here for.”

June didn’t argue. Instead she kissed June’s shoulder with a sigh. “I think it actually happened when I was on my knees. I think it was a rock or something. Worth it.”

Madi nodded, her lids growing heavy. “I need to sleep.”

“Me too,” I sighed.

“We can fit into my bed,” June said.

I raised a brow. “Are you sure?”

“Of course. It’s not as big as yours, but we’ll make it fit.”

I narrowed my eyes on her. “Have you been stalking my Goodreads again?”

“Yep. I saw that quote highlighted.”

I groaned as I stood up, peppering kisses on top of their heads until they were both laughing. I linked my pinky with Madi’s and pulled June off the counter, leading both of them to her bedroom.

The three of us collapsed into the blankets, wiggling around until we got comfortable. Pretty soon, the two of them were out, soft snores following.

I couldn’t sleep.

I should have been exhausted, especially after that much physical exertion. And I was. But my mind couldn’t stop spinning.

For better or for worse, I had fallen in love. Not only had I fallen in love with one person, but two.

Maybe I'd already been in love with June. For the last few years, I’d wanted her. I’d never been brave enough to do anything about it though until New Year’s Eve.

Then when Madi came to Whynot . . .

Everything had changed.

She was probably going to leave.

I would be here.

June would be here.

Nothing would feel right if the three of us weren’t together.

I've watched one of my best friends fall in love. Completely head over heels. Mateo talked about Levi and Avery like they were the center of his world, and while I’d always found it sweet, I never really got it.

This was different than with anyone else I’d ever dated. I've never been with another person that made me feel this way.

My life was better with Madi and June.

But how was I going to keep them in it?
