“Okay.” That sounded reasonable. She knew somebody needed to catch Psycho. And kill him. Marcus looked like he was pissed enough to do a thorough job.
“Bree!”
“I said go get him,” she slurred. That wasn’t good.
“Then you passed out. If you can’t hold the belt in place, you’re going to bleed out and that fucker gets another one.”
“Eric can hold it,” she said.
“Parker’s not here.”
“Sure he is.” She could see him through the windshield of the car that had pulled up. “WPS to the rescue. They’ll arrest him. You go catch Psycho first. Kill him for me, ‘kay?”
“Bloodthirsty. I like it,” Marcus said. Then he started laughing, and she blinked again.
