But you don’t keep it like that. You don’t stay where you’re supposed to. You carry a slight dissonance, as if out of place, like the fucking little brat you are, and suddenly I canfeelyou there. Not as something abstract, no, more than that. Mine to observe.

Mine to adjust.

You don’t realize what that does. To be watched the way you’re watching me. To be followed that closely by your ghostly presence. To have someone sit there and take everything I offer without resistance. Without leaving. It makes me want to see how far I can take it. How much you’ll let me do before you finally react, before you finally understand what you’ve stepped into.

You’re doing so good, little Ghost.

There it is again. You’re feeling your pulse throbbing somewhere other than your chest now, don’t you? You don’t hide it well, not from me.

I could stop, that’s the thing.

I could pull this back. Make it easier for you. Less… intense. But I don’t. Because I want to see what happens if I don’t. I want to see what you do when I don’t give you that distance. And don’t you fucking dare pull away from me now. You let me get closer, word by word. Line by line. Until it didn’t feel like distance anymore. Until it feels like I’m right there. Close enough that if I lowered my voice just slightly, you’d feel it.

Tell me something. If I told you to look at me properly, would you? Or would you pretend you don’t want to? Either way, I don't mind. I enjoy the hunt. That’s what this is. This is a shift, and you’re already buried deep inside it, baby. You just haven’t realized what that means yet.

Because once I focus on something, I don’t let go. I don’t forget it. I don’t lose interest. And right now? You have my full attention, and that’s not something you should take lightly.

So don’t look away now. Not when I’ve just started to understand you. Not when you’ve just started to show me how far you’re willing to go.

So be a good girl for me and stay right there, little Ghost.

Let me see what else I can take from you.

But now, I need some time to contain myself. Because your attention has a way of making my cock yearn for attention. And when I get back, we’ll continue the story. Focus, little Ghost.

The Machination

Chapter 13

He spoke of it without caution. There was no warning in his voice, no inflection that suggested I should be afraid. If anything, he sounded calm, almost bored, as if naming something self-evident.

“You keep acting like you don’t have a choice.”

Zwierek was leaning back in the chair, one leg hooked over the other, fingers tapping idly against the wooden armrest like he had all the time in the world.“You let her decide what happens to you,”he continued, glancing at me like he was studying something unfinished.

“And then you walk around like it’s inevitable.”His mouth curved, not a smile, no, it was almost predatory.

“That’s not inevitability. That’s laziness.”My jaw tightened. Not visibly, but he saw it anyway. He always did.

“That look,”he said, tilting his head.

“You think you’re different from me because you don’t act on it.”His eyes locked with mine.

“You’re not.”I didn’t react. But something in my chest tightened. He leaned forward then, elbows resting on his knees, voice dropping by a degree.

“Control isn’t what you think it is.”His fingers stilled.

“It’s not about stopping things.”

“It’s about deciding how they happen.”

That was the first time he said it like that. The first time something in the conversation turned. He was always vague when he talked about those things, about his ideas and his solutions, but somehow I was never confused about what he meant or what he was trying to tell me.

He always understood me too, which honestly should’ve been impossible considering I didn’t speak and didn’t know sign language, but none of that seemed to matter with him. And somehow I always understood him right back. I couldn’t stop thinking that maybe we were made from the same kind of thing in some strange way. Like there was something in him that matched something buried deep inside me.

After that, it arrived in splinters.

Half-said things, passing remarks, things he mentioned as though they held no consequences. Rope, knots, the way tension distributes across the body if you do it correctly. How certain positions restrict movement without causing immediate damage. How you can hold someone in place. He never framed it as cruelty; he framed it asprecision. Control. Ownership.
