“Oh, nothing. We were just commenting on how much Aubrey has grown over the last few years,” Emma provides.Okay, not too far from the truth.

“Ugh. Don’t remind me. Thank God, she’s still not dating. I don’t know how I’ll deal with that,” Grey grunts out.

“You do know it will happen one day, and you won’t really have a say in it. Who she chooses to be with is her decision, not yours,” I tell him.

“As her brother, I do get a say. If he’s not good for her, then I don’t want him near my sister.” He frowns at me.

Emma subtly shakes her head, telling me to drop it. They’ve probably already had this conversation, and it never goes anywhere. Poor guy when he finds out who she’s actually into.

Hell will definitely break loose.

Chapter seventeen

Veronica

My queen.

~ The Next Day ~

We’re only on day two of our vacation, and I already have a gorgeous tan on top of my natural golden skin. I can’t wait to see what I’ll look like by the end of our stay. It will definitely make for some nice pictures with the girls.

I bet my boys will look quite nice as well.

Today everyone is off exploring the island and doing their own thing. Morgan, Clay, Emma, and Greyson are gone snorkeling, while Cecilia and Silas are doing some Hobie Cat sailing. Aubrey, on the other hand, decided to stay back with Sam and the kids to spend the day in the pool.

Which leaves me and the two men who never leave my side. We weren’t sure what to do at first but finally decided to explore the island on our own. The island manager offered us a tour guide, but we thought it would be more fun to venture alone. We started off by following the shore then went into the more forested section of the island.

It’s so quiet and peaceful here; all you can hear is the distant sound of waves crashing along the cliffs and tropical birds chirping within the trees. I hadn’t realized how much I miss the quiet after spending the last three years in the city. No horns blaring, no people shouting, no bumping into pedestrians along the sidewalk, or zipping through endless traffic. It’s just us and this big, beautiful island, surrounded by nature. A part of me wishes we could live here forever.

After a few hours of walking and exploring, we find a secretive little beach on the other side of the island. There’s no pathway or trail to it, so I’m guessing no one ever really comes here. I kick off my sandals and walk into the water, dipping my hands in and bringing them back up to glide over my skin, cooling it down from the heat.

We left the resort in only our swimsuits and shoes, planning on getting in the water whenever we could, so it made sense to bring no extra clothing or bags with us. The staff assured us there was no way for us to get lost, that no matter which way we walked, eventually we would return to the resort.

Noah comes into the water behind me, one hand coming up to my neck as he brushes my hair to the side and kisses the spot between my neck and shoulder. His other hand moves around my waist, pressing me into his hard, sculpted body.

“I love this bikini so much more than yesterday’s.” He kisses up my neck.

“Oh, yeah?” I tilt my head back, giving him better access.

“Mhmm, you wanna know why?” He flicks my earlobe with his tongue.

“Tell me,” I say breathlessly, eyes closing as I let his seductive voice travel along my skin, through my body, down to my core.

“This beautiful white top when wet…” His hand that brushed my hair away earlier slides down my front. Tiny bumps scatter my skin as his finger delicately trails lower, over my breast. “Becomes practically see-through.”

The tip of his finger glides over my pebbled nipple as he swirls it around a few times before cupping my breast in his palm. His huge hand looks enormous as he squeezes my breast in his grasp.

I moan as the wild sensation brings my body to life. I’ve always been very sensitive; whether it’s my breast or between my legs, every touch feels like a bolt of electricity passing through me.

“Which gives me the perfect view of these perky little tits.” Noah bites my ear delicately over my piercings before the hand around my waist dips lower until it’s resting at the side of my bikini bottom. “And these silly little strings…” He pulls on it slightly, then growls. “One little tug and everything comes loose.”

I moan again, tempted to tell him to do it. Wanting him to do it. These last few days have been torture with their hands constantly touching me, their lips always on me. It’s all I can think about. Wanting. Needing. The throbbing between my legs has been persistent lately, begging for attention. Their attention.

I’m about to grab his hand at my hip and bring it down to my center, needing his touch there when Gabe yells out at us, stopping me. “Hey, guys! Come see what I found!”

Noah removes his hands from me with one last lingering kiss to my neck before giving me that devilish smirk. He laces our fingers together and walks us over to Gabe, following him along the shore until the sand stops and is replaced by big boulders, where we’re forced to walk in the water.

“It’s right after the rocks,” Gabe says with an excited smile.
