That thought is like a knife twisting in my chest. Mommy and Daddy haven’t said anything about keeping me. We had so much fun at the zoo, but we haven’t really talked about what a future together might look like.

What if they don’t want me? What if they don’t want a Little girl at all?

Or worse, what if they just want someone… better?

Those thoughts are bouncing around in my head like a pinball when a set of bright lights pierce my eyes and I curl up with a whine, trying to block out the light.

“Aw, baby, Mommy’s sorry. Come here, princess.”

Familiar arms scoop me out of the bed and I press my face to Mommy’s neck, inhaling the scent of her. She smells… fresh, like she’s just showered, and I breathe deeply again, trying to imprint the scent of her on my brain in case this is the last chance I ever have to smell her like this.

“Sweet little baby,” she murmurs, rocking me gently. “Did you have a good nap, June-bug?”

“Uh-huh.”

Beneath me, her chest vibrates with laughter. “I think our Little girl is having some trouble waking up, Daddy.”

Our Little girl.Does that mean they want to keep me after all? Or are they still just playing the game?

“Hmm.” Daddy’s deep voice is filled with amusement. “I wonder if pizza and chocolate cake would help wake her up.”

Eyes flying open, I sit up straighter on Mommy’s lap. “Pizza!”

They both laugh then, and Mommy’s arms tighten around me. “Go wash your hands, baby, and then we’ll eat.”

“Ugh, Mommy, I don’t need to wash my hands!”

One dark brow rises as Mommy pins me with a look that has me squirming on her lap. “Then you don’tneeddessert, either, Juniper Skye.”

Crap. Mommy has on her “Mommy means business” face, which means there’s no getting past her.

Puffing my bottom lip out in a pout, I look up at Daddy. “Do I really gotta wash my hands?”

I don’t even know why I’m arguing. It’s not like Idon’twash my hands when I eat anyway. But for some reason, I feel the need to push, to see how much I can get away with.

Which is… not much, judging by the stern look in Daddy’s eye. “What did your Mommy say, little girl?”

Shoulders slumping, I let out a dramatic sigh. “Mommy said to wash my hands.”

“Then I suggest you do as Mommy told you to.Now, Juniper.”

Sliding from Mommy’s lap, I hurry to the attached bathroom to wash my hands, rolling my eyes when Mommy and Daddy both yell “With soap!”. Once my hands are washed—yes, with soap, I’m not a total heathen—I make my way back to the bedroom. “All done,” I say, holding my hands up for inspection.

“Good girl.” Mommy’s voice is a low purr that makes my pussy clench with need. “Come on. The pizza should be here soon.”

With an easy strength that never fails to steal my breath, Daddy hoists me up into his arms and carries me downstairs to the dining room. From the corner of my eye, I catch sight of a giant TV, and my Little heart swells with excitement.

“Can we watch a movie while we eat? Please, Daddy?”

“Not tonight, baby.”

“ButDaddy,” I whine, pouting up at him again. “Pizza ismadeto be eaten in front of the tv!”

“Oh, is it?” His tone is calm, breezy. Almosttoobreezy as he sets me down in a chair at their giant dining room table. “Is it also made to be eaten while sitting on a red-hot bottom after Daddy spanks you for not listening?”

“Ummm… no, no it is not.”

“Then I suggest you stop arguing with Daddy.”
