Once we were fully dressed, I stayed back and listened to them update me on their last couple days. Being in a poly relationship didn’t require much, not to me at least. It had the exact make up of a monogamous relationship, just doubled.

“I gotta take care of something,” I announced after a few. “We got a date this Friday, Ju. I’ll be picking you up from the house.”

“Okay,” she said.

I turned to Karima. “I’ll see you on Thursday, baby. Whatever you wanna do, aight?”

“Aight,” she replied.

Kissing both women, I made my way out front. As I walked past, I could hear Karima’s two employees talking.

“That man got them on lock. Did you hear all that moaning?”

“Shhhh, before he hears you.” The other girl hushed her.

Shaking my head, I headed outside. As soon as I sat in the driver’s seat, I called my personal phone from my business line. The phone rang twice before it picked up.

“Who is this?”Key answered like she was the owner of the phone.

I couldn’t help but to chuckle.“That’s how you answer the phone?”

She paused for a few seconds, then her voice came through again.“Mehki?”

“It’s me.”

“Oh, nigga, you slick.”

“What you mean?”I feigned ignorance.

“How ya phone get in my purse?”

“My phone? In your purse?”

She laughed softly, and the sound did something to me.

“I’m slippin’,”she said.“You tryna track me?”

“I don’t know what you talkin’ ‘bout, shorty. Why would I be tracking you?”I smiled.

“That’s usually what people do when they come across a rare piece of art that they wanna see again.”

Her response made my dick hard. It rolled off her tongue so smooth, I knew it wasn’t something that she’d thought out.

“When you free?”

“For?”

“Me to get my property that somehow found its way in your purse.”

“Ooohhh. Well, that depends.”

I smirked.“On?”

“The finder’s and charging fee.”

“Girl, what?”

“I’ve had this phone for forty-eight hours. I kept it charged up and put up in a secure place. That’s not free.”
