LEO
I was planning on heading right up to the cabin to join my dad and Izzy, but when Whit told me his flight was canceled and he couldn’t go home, I decided he was coming with me. I don’t know what was holding me back. Whit has been amazing since the beginning, but still, I never thought this day would come.
Me bringing home a guy to meet my family.
Izzy is going to give me so much shit. I smile at the thought. I’m going to have to focus on finding him his forever Daddy because he’s starting to latch onto my dad, and everyone knows you don’t fall for straight guys. Especially if they raised you.
Gross.
Maybe he’d like the Lactin Brotherhood. There are a lot of guys there and maybe one would be “the one” for him. But what if he thinks it’s weird?
“What up, bitches,” I yell as I come into the kitchen and drop my shit on the counter. “I brought you both something, and something for me—” I eye the two of them as I round the corner into the living room, and they’re looking anywhere but at me.
That’s not suspicious at all.
“What’s happening here?” I ask.
“We’re watching Christmas movies without you,” Dad says.
“No, you both look guilty.”
“Not guilty, we’re surprised and happy to see you,” Izzy adds.
“Then where’s my hug?” I open my arms.
“I was just?—”
“He was falling asleep and you woke him up,” Dad answers. I want to call bullshit, but then Whit walks in behind me.
“Holy shit! Did you bring someone for Christmas?” Izzy gasps and runs over to meet Whit. “Damn, he is hot.” Izzy circles him. “Hi, I’m Izzy.”
My dad coughs, and Izzy grins at him before turning back to my date.
“Alright, back off and find your own lumberjack.”
“I don’t want a lumberjack, I want a Daddy.”
Whit laughs and shakes Izzy’s hand. “Nice to meet you, Izzy. My name is Whit, and I’m not actually a lumberjack, but the look makes all the boys...” He pauses and shoots my dad a look.
“Panties drop?” Izzy finishes.
“Hey, just my panties now,” I hiss. He’s my boy.
Whit gives me a pretty smile before he answers.
“Just your?—”
“Oh god.” Dad stands from the couch and shakes Whit’s hand. “I’m Joe, Leo’sdad.”
“Pleasure to meet you, sir,” Whit says like a suck-up.
“He’s got manners.” Izzy nudges me. “Unlike you.”
I shove Izzy, and he knocks into my dad. “Fuck off, I have man— Why are you still holding onto him?” This is weird.
“You pushed him,” Dad says and lets him go.
“It was a light push,” I defend.
