I’ve never felt like this before, in any way, but I don’t want it to ever end. My body has another agenda, though. I think Grayson and Asher want to pull every single ounce of pleasure possible from me, and my body is willing to give it.

Especially right now with the way they’re both moving, groaning, and grunting filthy words. I’m rubbing against Asher in the best way while they hit every single spot in me that has my orgasm building so fast, I feel like I can hardly breathe.

“I’m so close,” I complain.

“If you come, I don’t know if I can last much longer,” Grayson groans.

“Me either, but fuck, shit, baby, let go.” Asher sounds like he’s losing his own control, and that’s so rare to hear from him. It’s what finally sends me over the edge.

I tighten around them even more as I’m completely consumed by pleasure only they can give me. I feel the loss ofGrayson from behind me as he groans, and the warmth of his cum lands on my back. Asher fucks me roughly until he finds his release, pushing up into me and coming with a moan of his own.

None of us move right away, catching our breath and I’m shocked at what just happened. And shocked how much I liked it. Nothing about this should feel as good as it does. We shouldn’t work as well as we do.

But it’s us. And it doesn’t need to make sense. There doesn’t need to be any explanation for any of this. Because it makes sense for us, and that’s all that matters.

CHAPTER 45

Asher

I’m not an emotional person. I never have been. I shut that shit down when I was young, I guess trauma can do that to you or something. I don’t know, I think I heard that somewhere.

But for some reason I’m unable to sleep after we all clean up and settle into bed. Rae is exhausted, rightfully so, and Grayson is too because the two of them seem to be asleep as soon as they lay down.

Not me.

My mind won’t stop.

I’ve never felt like this about someone before, and I don’t know what to do with myself. I admitted as much as I could earlier and I know she wants more, but I’ve never said those three words to anyone before.

Never.

My family didn’t love each other; that’s a fucking fact. My parents never told each other or me they loved me. My grandma was so in love with her religion and herself that was all that mattered to her. She made sure I knew it, and how I went against everything she believed in.

I heard Audrey and Charlie say they love each other once Imoved in with them, but by that point it didn’t matter to me. I was an obligation to them, nothing more.

For the first time in my life, I actuallyfeelit. Love. I just can’t bring myself to say it. I’m sure Grayson and Rae have said it to each other their whole lives. They probably say it to their family daily, then to each other.

I can’t take it anymore; I get up from the bed because sleep is clearly not happening for me any time soon, and I walk out to the living room of the hotel room. I find myself standing in front of the floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the city. From up here it doesn’t look much different from Denver, especially at night. Both cities shine bright, which was something Seaside doesn’t have. When I looked out there at night all I saw was the vast darkness of the ocean.

It felt fitting for me. The bright lights, a penthouse, this isn’t me.

“Asher?” Rae’s soft voice calls, and I see her standing in the doorway of the bedroom; she’s in the T-shirt I managed to pull onto her before she collapsed on the bed.

“Go back to sleep,” I turn back toward the window because I’m sure she’s too tired to fight with me.

Instead, I feel her arms tentatively wrap around my bare middle, and her head rests against my back. I relax, even though I didn’t realize how tense I was.

Turning around, I take her into my arms. “I made sure to tire you out. You had a big night. Go back to sleep.”

She shakes her head, but I can see her eyes are fighting to stay open. “Not until you do.”

“You have Grayson to cuddle with,” I say sharper than I intend.

“It’s not the same if you’re not there too.”

Her words hit me harder than I realize. They’re so simple, but everything with her has so much more behind it.

“Are you okay?” she questions gently.
