“Dior knows about all this internet, AI shit. Apparently, you can fool somebody enough to believe they’re seeing an actual person when they’re not.” I made a face because that didn’t even sound possible. We weren’t a family that dabbled with the internet and shit like that. So all of this was very vague to me.

“I’m confused as a mothafucka,” I said, grabbing the back of my neck.

“Me too, let’s call for reinforcement,” I stayed silent as Buddha took his phone and called Dior. He told her she needed to come over to my house ASAP. When he got off the phone, I gave him a telling look.

“Do you think you should be letting Dior see a very dead Ciara on my kitchen floor?” I asked my brother because this seemed way too risky.

“No, but what choice do we fucking have? She’s the only one who will know how to deceive Ciara’s mother.” I released a frustrated breath; once again, I had no choice. I had to just go with it.

“Buddha, are you fucking insane? I do not want any part of this,” Dior immediately began to freak out when she saw Ciara’s dead body, and my brother explained what he needed from her.

“Too fucking late, you’re the only one who knows all about this internet shit,” he went on to explain. She began shaking her head so fast that I was surprised that mothafucka didn’t pop right off and roll around the kitchen floor like a basketball.

“Aye, snap the fuck out of it and tell us what the fuck we need to do. We need to send a video or some shit to Ciara’s mother telling her that she ran off because she found out Snow was cheating on her. We need it to look as if the video is coming from Ciara with her voice and face. Now, can you do that?” Buddha was holding on to Dior’s shoulders as he looked her in the eyes. I can tell she was worried that if she said no, she might meet the same fate as Ciara.

“This is so fucking crazy. How did I ever get caught up with you Ricci’s is beyond fucking me,” Dior mumbled more to herselfthan to Buddha. Taking a deep, calming breath, she turned to me, trying her best not to look at Ciara on the ground.

“Snow, I’ll need a picture of Ciara; the most recent one you have will work better. Then I’ll need a voice recording of hers; try to get me one that’s very clear with no background noise.” I listened carefully to what Dior needed and took out my phone.

I scanned through my cell until I got a photo of Ciara. She took my phone and snapped a selfie of herself putting it so every time my phone rang, her picture would pop up. Next, I found a voicemail of her asking me what time I would get home.

Buddha and I watched in awe as Dior uploaded both items onto a website she downloaded. Within the next ten minutes, my brother and I were stomped as we watched Ciara tell her mother that I’d been cheating on her, and she needed to leave for a few weeks because she also found out my side chick was pregnant.

“Please, give me some time to process all of this. Once I do, I’ll contact you. I love you, and I’ll talk to you soon.”

“That’s some straight-up voodoo shit,” Buddha mumbled, amazed by what Dior did with a photo and a voicenote.

“Can I leave now? Her dead body is giving me thehibbie jibbies,”Dior said, waiting for Buddha to give his ok.

“Sure, baby, I’ll see you when I get home.” He bent to give her a kiss, but she dodged him instead and headed for the front door.

“You rude as fuck!” He shouted behind her. She responded by flipping him off. I laughed because I really did like her; she kept my brother on his toes for real.

“You're about to be in the dog house for about a week,” I told him. I sent the video from my phone to Ciara’s, so I could send it to her mother.

“Dog house, my ass, I don’t play those games. Hurry on up and send the video to her mother so we can deal with disposing of her body. Where’s the bleach and mop?” He asked, looking around the kitchen as I sent Ciara’s mother the video Dior made. Now we wait to see if it works.

“The bleach is upstairs under the bathroom sink. I’ll get the mop,” I said, putting mine and Ciara’s phone down so I could help Buddha clean up all the blood.

Buddha left to go upstairs, and I got the mop that was in the corner of the kitchen. Alone with Ciara’s body, I couldn’t help but feel really bad. I stood and looked down at her in silence, regretting that this was how our marriage ended. I teared up a little as I said a quick prayer in my head, asking God to accept her into Heaven with all of her flaws and all.

“Do you have jumbo garbage bags?” Buddha’s voice interrupted my thoughts. I said nothing as I walked to the pantry and found what he asked for.

“Lay a few out on the ground next to her,” Buddha instructed. I listened to what he said because this right here was his expertise. Disposing of bodies was something he usually dealt with. His creepy ass seemed to enjoy doing this shit; I knew it as did our father.

“Help me lift her and put her on them.”

We both bent; I held Ciara by her feet, and he took her arms. We lifted in unison and placed her on the bags.

“Let’s clean all of this blood up, and then we’ll take her out to the pig farm.” Hearing him speak about that damn pig farmmade my blood run cold. We moved quickly, mopping up Ciara’s blood. It was more difficult than I thought; her blood was thick, and there was quite a lot of it.

Buddha and I spent about half an hour cleaning until it was practically spotless.

“You know what’s fucked up?” I asked, as we began wrapping Ciara’s body up in the jumbo bags. Using grey electrical tape, Buddha secured Ciara’s body between the bags.

“What’s that?” He asked, using the back of his hand to wipe beads of sweat off his forehead.

“We haven’t done something together in a minute. Now look at us, getting rid of my wife’s body. Shit is fucking crazy,” I said, lifting Ciara up and throwing her over my shoulder. Buddha began laughing, making me look at him as if he were losing his mind.
