“Fuuuuck me,” I groan.

“Don’t stop, Aston,” she whimpers, her hips tilting up. “Don’t you dare stop.”

I start to thrust into her, the slow burn building fast. I try to pace myself, but Eva matches me stroke for stroke. Her legs lock around my back, and she pulls me down for a kiss. I can’t hold back. The friction is too good. Every sound she makes, every moan, shatters a piece of my control.

Gripping the back of her thigh, I lift her leg higher on my waist to change the angle, trying to stave off my orgasm. I will not come before she does. But the new position makes her gasp, and it triggers me to move faster.

“Aston, I’m so close. Again,” she moans against my mouth.

“Come for me, Eva,” I say, brushing my lips against hers. My thigh muscles burn as I increase the pace, losing all rhythm and control, all thought, completely operating on primal instinct. “Now, Eva. Come!”

She shatters, her body gripping me in a pulsing wave that tears a loud cry from her throat. Watching her come sends me right over the edge. I let out a low groan, and bury myself deep inside her as my own orgasm rips through me.

Once I catch my breath, I drag lazy kisses up her neck and then to her lips, kissing her gently. After a few minutes, I roll off of her to remove the condom, tie it up, and toss it on the floor.

I lay back down next to her, our skin still slick with sweat, kiss her again softly, then bury my face in her neck, inhaling the faint scent of her perfume, feeling completely ruined.

“You’re amazing,” I tell her.

She’s ruined me.Just like I always knew she would.

“Yeah, it was pretty incredible. Ten out of ten, approve.” She laughs, holding up a thumbs-up, which makes me laugh too.

I roll to my side after a few minutes, holding my arm out for her to tuck into me. I feel her lips lightly kiss my chest, then we both drift off to sleep.

The filtered morning light coming through the thick wooden shutters is the first thing that wakes me.

My eyes blink open, the fog of sleep and a night of drinking lifting, revealing the room's unfamiliar layout.

Then I realize there’s a warm body next to me.

I turn my head and see Eva asleep on her stomach, the white duvet pulled up to her waist, exposing the smooth, bare skin on her back. Her dark hair is spread across the pillows, and she looks so stunning in the morning light.

As I look at her, I realize I’ve never felt anything like this. Not even remotely close. And that’s a problem.

My brother. The way he loved her.

Their past. The way losing her nearly broke him.

Life waiting outside this guest house.

A massive, suffocating wave of guilt hits me in the chest.

Aiden’s words from last night echo through my mind.“Don’t start something you aren’t ready to finish. If something happens between you and her, don’t ask me to help you fix it with Ace.”

What the hell did I just do?

I sit up, careful not to wake her. My mind is spinning.

The physical need I still have for her, even after last night, hums through my veins. She absolutely blew up my world. It wasn’t just sex.

But she’s the girl who broke my twin brother’s heart. Ace loved her, and she walked away from him. And their breakup sent him on a self-destructive bender. His gameplay was affected, and he all but shut down. She was the only girl who’d ever gotten under his skin.

And I just spent the night flirting with her and fucking her.

He’s my twin. We share a face. We’ve shared everything our whole lives. But there’s an unwritten, ironclad rule we’ve always had—never share or mess with a girl. And I pushed my feelings aside throughout the whole year they were together. I stepped aside when he wanted her, even though I’d wanted her first.

And here I am three years later, breaking that rule.
