She stopped in front of a door, dug out her keycard, and swiped it over the pad. “One room. Do you want to come in?”

Hell, yeah.“Yes.” His voice didn’t sound like his own. Every muscle, every nerve was coiled tight, desperate for that release. He pushed open the door and she sashayed past him.

“We’re not behaving like a normal family,” he murmured.

“That’s because we aren’t.” Her snarky tone made him laugh.

When the door banged shut, the silence magnified his breathing. He deposited the bags on the suitcase rack. Then, he faced her. The atmosphere became charged. Once he started, he wasn’t going to stop. And he needed confirmation she wanted this.

Her cheeks were pink, her lips moist. Like him, her breathing had become jagged. She’d cemented one hand on her hip while her eyes drilled into his.

“You are the one person I shouldn’t want,” he said. “And theonlyone I do.”

“Sometimes being bad feels oh-so-good.”

His sinfully sexy stepsister was so damned right.
