“Need more.” My voice is high, practically a whine.
With a smirk, he pulls back and slams into me. The bed shakes and I cry out. His dark eyes flare as his pace increases with every thrust until he’s pounding into me just like he promised. Everything around us disappears, and it’s only the brutal movement of his hips and continuous drag of his cock against my prostate sending jolts of searing pleasure through my body. I don’t even know what’s coming out of my mouth anymore because I sound like a feral animal.
The wave that’s been building crests, and I go tumbling over the edge. Hot spurts of cum splatter across my chest and neck, but I barely feel it. I’m caught in the throes of my orgasm, and it doesn’t stop. Every thrust tags my prostate, prolonging my orgasm until I’m shaking and my vision whites out. When it’s finally over, my head is fuzzy and it feels like I’m in a tunnel.
A shout tears from Troy’s throat, a combination growl and groan that vibrates through his entire body. Then with one last thrust he comes hard. His hot cum paints my insides as he trembles through his own climax.
One last spasm and he collapses on my chest, panting for breath as we both ride that post-orgasm high. We’re sweaty and breathless, but smiling so wide it feels like my face might break.
“Holy fuck!” I say, because that’s all I’ve got right now.
“You’re gonna kill me,” Troy murmurs as he struggles to roll us over. I’m boneless and I’m not moving anytime soon. He pullsme back against his chest, and I settle in while I learn how to breathe again.
For the first time, I want to stay right where I am. The urge to run is remarkably absent. I realize that everything I’ve ever wanted is right here in this bed. With me.
“I don’t want to date you,” I tell him.
His face falls.
“You don’t?”
“No, I want us to be exclusive. I want to be boyfriends. Not someone casual. Not someone you just hook up with. I want to be your person, Troy. And I want you to be mine.”
His shoulders sag and his face lights up.
“That’s all I’ve ever wanted, Micah. To be your person.”
He pauses, then gets a mischievous look in his eye.
“Does this mean I get to tell everyone at the gym that we’re together?”
“Ugh. If you must, I guess I can tolerate it,” I say with an eye-roll, but something warm and solid settles deep in my chest and I snuggle in closer.
He wraps himself around me as if he’s afraid I’ll leave.
“I’m done running, Troy. I promise.”
“Thank fucking God, because I’m not letting you go. You’re mine, baby. Mine.”
Chapter 12
Diesel
It’s Sunday and my first professional fight is this Friday. I do my best to ignore the pre-fight jitters that have already started. My parents should be here any minute, and I’m chopping bell peppers for tonight’s dinner salad. Micah’s sitting at the breakfast bar, bent over his latest sketch with single-minded intensity. Left alone, he’d be there for hours and end up with a backache.
Micah’s been doing more and more for Tiernan and the gym. Tiernan’s got him handling all of his marketing and social media, but also some PR work for a few of his fighters. Those same fighters have asked him to work on their social media accounts as well. It’s paid off, and having that financial strain lifted has been so good for him. He’s still paying me rent, of course, but I haven’t spent a dime. Idohave some big plans for Christmas, though.
As I finish setting the table, I stop by his chair, rubbing his back to get his attention. That’s where we’re at now. Finally. Where touching him makes him happy, not wary.
He looks up from his sketch, green eyes bright with affection.
“Almost time?” he asks, leaning into my caress. I kiss the top of his head, breathing in the familiar vanilla scent of his favorite shampoo. He wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me closer and tipping his head up. I smile as I lean down to give him what he’s so obviously asking for. In the background, I hear the back door open, but I choose to ignore it.
“Oh, my lovely Morning Glory, looks like we’ve interrupted some afternoon delight.” My dad’s voice booms through the kitchen.
Micah jerks his head back, his cheeks flushed red. Not me.
“You two could knock, you know?” I say with affectionate annoyance. “And who says afternoon delight? Jeez, Pops, just don’t. Like ever again.”
