“I did something to you, B?” I questioned.

“What? No.” Her eyes shot up to me. It eased my mind. “I just felt like it was too deep.” She finished.

“Too deep for who?”

“Me! No matter how much I don’t want to admit it, I think it was just going to be a disaster. I’d always be craving a feeling that I get from…”

Her words trailed off as she stopped herself from finishing the statement, like she had already said too much.

I nodded. I didn’t need her to finish the statement because I already knew what she meant. Our chemistry was crazy. And the sex once she finally got comfortable with me was next level. But it’s my job to be realistic, and Breeze was the wife of another man.

I took a couple of steps toward her, and she backed up until she was halted by the sink in the stall. I picked her up and sat her on it and rubbed the spread of her hips.

She looked at me with wide eyes, and I could see the battle that she was having, and I was sure that she could see mine. But I didn’t give a fuck about what she was saying at the moment. I miss her.

I tilted her head toward me and kissed her. At first, it was just a couple of soft pecks on her lips, and then I slowly parted them with my tongue. She didn’t fight the kiss, but she didn’t give in to it at first either. I could feel all her restraint leaving. Her hands went from resting in her lap, to on my chest, and then thrown around my neck.

She deepened the kiss, held my head, and moaned. Then she pushed me back, and her eyes fell to her lap. I leaned my forehead against hers and then exhaled. I stood straight up and adjusted my dick in my pants and then took a couple of steps back from her. I could tell that she was fighting her own feelings, and I wasn’t in the business of adding to that.

“Take care, B,” I grabbed her hand to help her down from the sink. Instead of allowing me to, she grabbed my arm and pulled me closer to her.

She looked up from her lap with the craziest expression and said, “Q, I can’t get past the fact that my body craves you. Still, even after all this time.”

Again, I understood what she meant. I could be at the red light and have a flashback of her on her knees in front of me, or how she moaned when I was buried between her legs, and my shit would be rock hard in seconds.

“I get it, B. I feel the same way. But I respect your decision, come on, let’s go,” I said, stepping back and extending my hand for a second time.

“Quentinnnn,” She whined, pouting, with her lips out.

“What Breeze?” I tucked my lip between my teeth as I looked down at her.

Silence stretched long and thick between us.

“Can you fuck me tonight, then move to Nova Scotia?” She pretended to cry.

“BREEZEEEEEE!” A loud, drunk voice echoed through the stalls.

“Cass, I’m fine! I’ll be out in a second,” she yelled back.

“Okay, good,” The voice slurred, and I heard the door push open again.

“You coming to my house?” I questioned without thinking.

She nodded, “I’m leaving with you. I’ll take a black truck home.”

“Your friend gone be aight?” I asked, hearing that she was clearly drunk.

“There are four of us here, Baja and me already decided to be the sober ones to look after Lisa and Cass.”

I nodded, “Aight, I’ll be ready in about 20 minutes.” I turned and opened the door to the stall.

“Oop!” A random girl said, shocked, as we bypassed her while walking out, and she was walking in. We had been there for about five minutes. I had heard heels clicking against the tile, toilets flushing, the sink turning on and off, but neither of us cared. I ignored her and then made my way back into Quiana’s section.

When I made it back there, the section was flooded with money and strippers. Qui had a bottle of Luc Belaire, shaking it. I shook my head at the sight. One of the strippers grabbed my hand and pushed me back on the couch.

I let her give me a lap dance. The dance did nothing for me, but it gave me the opportunity to make Qui think I was enjoying myself, and not like I came to her party and dipped just as quickly as I arrived.

I wasn’t focused on anything she was doing; I couldn’t even hear the song playing. My only concern was counting down the minutes on the clock.
