“Navy hotties?” Jude asked.

“Yeah, you know like Tom Snooze inTop Gunwith those tight white uniforms and the way he tongue kisses Charlie!” Everly swooned.

“Oh, fuck,” Ronan muttered under his breath.

“Uh, Ronan?” Ten sighed heavily. “I’m gonna ask you a question and you’re gonna tell me the truth, right?”

Ronan nodded, looking miserable.

“I promise you won’t be in trouble if you tell the truth, okay?” Ten was trying to hold on to his self-control, but it was starting to slip.

“Okay,” Ronan agreed.

“Did you allow our seven-year-old daughter to watchTop Gunwith Tom Cruise and the tongue kissing?” Ten folded his arms over his chest and shot Ronan a dirty look.

“Well, maybe just a little.” Ronan held his thumb and first finger an inch apart.

“Where the hell was I when Maverick and Goose lost that loving feeling?” Ten demanded

Ronan snorted.

“Oh this is funny, is it? Watching sexy Navy hotties without me?” Ten’s right hand fluttered to his chest. “Haven’t I suffered enough?”

“What’s tongue kissing?” Wolf asked.

“Fuck me with a chainsaw,” Jude muttered.

“It’s something you’ll learn about when you’re taller,” Cope said easily. “Short people can’t tongue kiss.”

“Someone might wanna tell Tom Snooze that…” Ronan half-whispered.

Wolf wore a skeptical look.

Ten heard Everly whisper the answer to Wolf.

“Ewwww!” The little boy grabbed his bottle of water and started chugging it. “I’m not rubbing my tongue against anyone else’s andthat’sfinal.”

“Good man, Wolfie!” Jude gave Ronan a hard stare. “You and I are gonna have somewordslater.”

“While I agree Ronan needs a few days on the time-out step,” Ten said, “I don’t want to spend this vacation having to bail either one of you out of jail.”

“But Ten, think of how quiet it would be if these two asshats were locked up for the weekend,” Fitz said, brightly. “They’d be stuck in the clink until Tuesday because of the holiday weekend.”

“As tempting as that sounds, Ronan promised me rest and relaxation. After what happened to me a few weeks back, thinking of my husband locked in a cell makes me nauseous. I’ll keep Ronan, warts and all.”

“Did you ever wonder what it’s like to be beloved by your husband?” Ronan rolled his eyes. “Exhibit A.” He pressed a kiss to Ten’s cheek.

“Look everyone, we’re here!” Fitz said, turning left into the parking lot.

Everyone piled out of the van and headed toward the dock leading to the boat. The M/V Heritage was about thirty feet long and was painted white with blue trim. Ten could see seats along the side of the boat and on the top, with places to stand at the bow of the boat. He wanted to recreate the scene fromTitanic, minus the iceberg and the ship sinking.

“Where’s our ship?” Aurora asked.

“That’s it right there.” Fitz pointed to the Heritage.

“No, Daddy. That’s just a little boat. You said we were going on a harbor cruise. Where’s the cruise ship? Do we take this little boat out to meet the big ship?”

Ten bit his lip to keep from laughing. He made sure Everly had seen pictures of the boat so she’d know what to expect. It was obvious Fitz and Jace hadn’t done the same thing. He was curious to find out how Fitz was going to stop the tantrum Hurricane Aurora was about to spin.
