My heart sank with every second that ticked by.
A collaboration. I followed him long enough and checked out the accounts he tagged to know what that meant. A sex tape for OnlyFangs, an exclusive membership platform.
I didn’t even know he had one of those, too.
You’re dumb, Sinclair.
Noah slid off my body.
He’s probably going to arrange a meeting with that guy and wants to do that without your dick distracting him.
Not that it offered any distraction anymore. My erection had deflated when I’d seen the message.
He didn’t leave, though, but curled up at my side with his juicy ass snuggled into my waist. Noah held his phone at an angle so I could read over his shoulder. I couldn’t say if he did that on purpose or not.
thenoahbright: Hi Paul, thanks for the offer but I’m not open for collabs. I’m seeing someone. All the best, Noah x
Oh fuck, now I felt guilty on top of shitty and nosy. I bet there would be a lot of money in this for him.
“I’m sorry. I really just tried to swipe the notification off your screen. And I, uh, I understand if you need more content and want to…collaborate with this guy.”
He turned around with his eyebrows drawn together.
“But I don’t want a collab with him.” Noah shook his head at me in confusion. “I just told him in my message.”
“Yeah, I saw that.” I tried for an offhand voice but failed miserably.
“Why did you say that, then?” he enquired once more.
“I don’t know. I guess I just don’t want to stand in your way. I bet that would be a nice chunk of money.”
“Oh fuck off.” Noah huffed and rolled away, or he tried. I stopped him and hugged him to my chest. He struggled half-heartedly in my hold but didn’t try to free himself. “I’m not interested in fucking this guy, okay? I know you’re just doing this fake boyfriend thing for me, but that’s just not my style.”
“I’m not just doing this for you.”
“What?” He stopped squirming.
“I’m not ‘just dating’ you to do you a favour, Noah Bright.”
“Well, that’s good because I’m not doing you a favour either,” he quipped.
We stared at each other for a moment, then crashed our mouths together.
Chapter 22
Noah
Idrafted a ton of posts about our time in Kirkmuir on the drive back home. Some were just regular ‘follow along with my boyfriend and me,’ but I also wanted to get a handful for APEX Predator Clothing, for the hotel, and The Wanking Pony done. Over the years I had learned that making a milliondrafts while my brain was in output mode helped me show up consistently even on the days my brain said ‘nope.’ My followers thought I lived online, and I’d never bothered correcting them.
“Thank you for helping me take all these pictures,” I told Lewis after a while. He was the perfect social media winter husband. “You really have an eye for these things.”
He glanced away from the road, pursed his lips and looked back ahead.
“What?”
“I have an eye foryou,” he told me in a smug voice and reached over to squeeze my thigh.
I didn’t challenge him on it, just like I hadn’t in Kalon Gardens, and all the other times he’d said these things to me.
