She lets out an excited giggle as she rushes to do as I ask.

I am in such a good mood. Tonight is going better than I could ask.

“Why do you two look like naughty kids up to no good?” Jude asks, looking at us in one of the dressing room mirrors. He turns around, raising a brow.

“Us? Up to no good?” Willow scoffs. “Never.”

“Okay, spill.” Jude crosses his arms, eyes flicking between the two of us.

“Anyone else in here?” Willow asks.

“No,” I shake my head. I am so excited, I feel as if I’m high. The excitement is intoxicating, and it's difficult to keep it together.

“Good.” She closes the door then comes over to me. “How would you like to help us give Briar closure and security from her past?”

“I’m in,” Jude says without hesitation. “What do you need me to do?”

I turn to look at Willow, only to find that both of us are grinning. Perfect.

“Come with us, and we’ll explain everything,” I promise.

As we drive to Briar’s workplace, we fill Jude in on our plan. We plan on driving to Idaho, grab the three bastards and bring them back here. Jude agreed he’d be happy to stay with Briar until we got back. I don’t like the idea of either of them being alone while we’re so far away.

It’s a good thing my truck has a tonneau cover. As long as we keep them sedated, we should be able to get them back here without anyone suspecting otherwise.

When we get to Widows Peak, we stop by Club 21 to grab Briar.

“Hey.” She grins wide when we walk into the club. “I wasn’t expecting you all.”

She gives us each a hug and kiss before stepping back. Her brows furrow. “Is something going on?”

“Are you done with work?” Willow asks.

“Yes,” she drawls slowly. Shit, she’s suspicious. None of us are acting right, which explains why she’s confused. “I was just about to clock out. Why?”

“Go do that, then we’ll talk,” I tell her, kissing her on the forehead.

“I don’t like this.” She narrows her eyes. “Did something bad happen?”

“No,” Willow laughs. “Everyone is fine, no one is hurt.”

“Okay then.” She doesn’t sound convinced. “Just give me a second.”

Her fingers quickly punch across the computer screen as she clocks out, and then she’s turning towards us again.

“Okay, so out with it. I hate letting my mind think a million different things and get me worked up for nothing.”

“It’s not bad, I promise. It’s actually kind of exciting,” I grin.

“Exicting. I can do that,” she smiles. “So what's going on?”

“We can’t tell you,” Willow says, leaning forward to kiss her hello.

“Why not?” she laughs, looking between the three of us.

“Let’s go home first,” I tell her. “It’s a conversation better had where people can’t hear.”

“What’s with all the secrecy?” she asks Jude as we get into my truck.
