I opened the back door, grabbed Gio by his feet, and pulled him out, making him slam into the concrete.

“AHHHH!” he screamed. “You a bitch ass nigga.”

I laughed at him.

“Says the nigga on the ground. Bitch, stand up.”

Gio looked over at Islah, and she didn’t say shit, just took the keys from me and unlocked the door.

“You really acted like that to get back to him?” he asked Islah while trying to get off the ground.

Islah nodded. “I told you over and over, I was going home.” Islah looked over at me. “He’s my home. Plus, my baby needed their daddy.”

When she said that, that nigga turned purple like all the air in his body left him, and I laughed.

“Yeah, nigga, I put a seed in your old shorty.”

“You know what, Islah?” he said, stumbling to stand up. “You are a ho ass bitch. I hope your baby?—”

He didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence.

BOOM. Caught the nigga with a right.

BOOM. Caught that nigga with a left, and he stumbled back.

I dog walked that nigga with back-to-back left and right punches until he was on the ground again.

“Nobody has taught you respect. You finna learn today,” I said, still walking him down.

After he had had enough, I dragged him into the house, leaving him in the entryway on the floor as I looked around.

“You picked out this house, mamas?”

She nodded.

“It’s nice.”

“Nah, baby, our house is better,” she stated.

I walked around the house and grabbed a chair, found some rope in the pantry, and was wondering what the fuck he was gonna do with it, but didn’t.

I took the rope and the chair back over to him, sat him in the chair, and tied him to it.

That nigga face was all fucked up and already swollen.

“You feel like you somebody, don’t you?” he asked me.

To be real, I didn’t even know what that meant. I guess I hit him too hard.

“Nigga, I am the nigga you wish you were. Living the life you wanted with the girl of your dreams. In every life, I will always be that nigga.”

Islah came out of the kitchen and stuffed a dishrag in his mouth.

“I am tired of hearing him.”

I smiled at her. I felt like I was getting another side of Islah.

“What do you want to hear?” I asked her.
